Gandergear
Can we get some development on adding more connecting tiles to the game? I certainly would find it more useful to the games replayability if we had 1 new tile for 1 tileset every warframe update.
artemisfortune
I'd rather them focus on touching up old tiles so we can actually use our movement abilities like Wall hopping and Wall Clinging.
MillbrookWest
Or bring back some of the tiles they took out... some of them looked really nice. Movement 2.0 should have remedied the reason for some of the removals.
Vicsvinny
Remember seeing this tile for the first time during a Mobile Defense alert. (I don't play Mobile Defense as much as I should, so maybe this isn't rare at all) Tiles like this needs to be more mainstream, a lot of really good ones are locked behind game-mode walls. And maybe also have refurbished Eris tilesets feature on Corpus ships? just a thought. Corpus ships seem pretty bland as of now, while Eris gives them a lot more life. Ironically enough. Phobonaut
I agree. Would also be nice if DE would look at out-of-bound zones on some tiles, since there are quite a few tiles that have large out-of-bound areas that would be great for parkour, stealth and sniping. Portugalotaku
Oh I have been waiting for a long while for this topic. For starters, the screenshot above is the Grineer Galleon MD-specific tile. Now, what I would like to suggest is first, balancing tile rarity. Some times are incredibly common while others are staggeringly rare. For example, in the Corpus Ice Planet tileset: This room is the most common in the entire tileset. You are practically guaranteed to get this room in nearly every mission. These three are nearly as common and will appear in every other mission. By contrast, here are a few of the rooms I could only get to spawn once in a while. The list is not complete as I could not get all of them to spawn: When I play excavation, 90% of the time I get the same 3 tiles every single mission. A few days ago I got a mission with just 2 excavation sites in total. Meanwhile there's all these cool rooms that could be used. This is not just a problem with the Corpus Ice Planet, all tilesets feature this to some degree. Here's a few rare rooms from other tilesets: There's also several rooms that have been removed: These are just a few, there are more, some of which I could not find pictures for, not to mention the Deception rooms, some of which can still be accessed via some sabotage nodes. (PSN)HurricaneHugo76
I not only say we need new tile sets, but the whole map generation system needs upgrade. If anything they should be pushing for more complex procedural generated levels.
(PSN)ParteeGarcia
I think every planet needs its own tile set so they are much more distinguished—which I hope they are considering—but I don't think we need a new tile set to release every update. Portugalotaku
While the Ghoul Purge update seemingly made the algorythm add some more variety, it seems to be going back to usual repetitive stuff, atleast on Europa. Keep getting those two damn tiles nonstop.
Me.Greedy
I'd upvote more tiles in sets for sure. every major update should add 5 tiles or something just so we can keep coming across fresh rooms now and then.

Ive come across some REALLY nice rooms in Exterminates that could be GREAT for defense or mobile defense (and ofc survival...because we ALWAYS need different tiles for that imo) (Ive got a couple tiles on mars...cant seem to find the pic atm, will have to look later)
(PSN)shadowraith_666
i'd like to see current tilesets updated, there are currently quite a number of doors in various levels on both grineer and corpus tilesets that have never been used, also an added mechanic to the tile-gen that unlocks or removes doors that blocks entry to adjoining areas or perhaps allow us to have a console to unlock it. DE should remember their good old unreal tournament and all the fine maps people created for it - and with warframe, the segment system makes it even more suitable for such user-input. the "problems" of balancing, size & placement of things and connectors (to other map-segments) is only a minor one, one that the devs can work out with the creators or even alone in most cases. Portugalotaku
I would also love a map editor for tile creation or to create unique missions to share with your friends. We already have a level building mechanic in the Dojo and Solar rails and the environmental design is one of the high points of Warframe.
