"Twelve thousand credits, sir." the man said, typing something into his terminal. "I'll also need your name and papers."

Clogori visibly winced upon hearing the prices, and pulled out what he was looking for in his pocket. He placed several credit chits, totalling 12000 credits, onto the counter, along with his totally legit ID, identifying him by his fake name.

"This should cover it, I believe?" Clogori asked.

"Alright, not the most promising start. Have you at least been briefed on the going-ons of the city?" she said.

"We know about the black market and the Tenno countermeasures, but that's about it." Kamos said. "Getting any kind of Intel from this place has been extremely difficult. Is there something else we should know?"

"Where to even start?" Ebony says with a sigh. Out in the hallway, the sound of water bottles being horribly mutated can be heard.

Ebony glanced towards the door.

"I guess I'll fill you in once the other two get back, that way I only have to say it once."

Sarah stepped to the side, allowing Celeste to easily access the stairs. She inspected the scythe for several more seconds before nodding and carrying it back downstairs.

"Just gotta test this thing out now. Where did we keep the water bottles?" she thought, humming happily to herself. She had missed her old weapon. Nothing else felt right to her.

"A lot of my old kit seems to have recently resurfaced. Pretty soon I'll have the whole deal back."

Ebony didn't so much as blink when Sarah walked in with a massive golden weapon. She simply continued untying her boots.

"Water bottles are in the closet if you wanna do sometests." Ebony said, "And don't do any inside this time!"

Sarah laughed, grabbing a pack of the plastic bottles and heading outside, a spring in her step.

A few minutes later, Jane and Celeste walk into the occupied room once again, hoods pulled down on their cloaks exposing their faces and mops of hair frizzled from drying. Jane definitely seems to have perked up quite a bit, judging by the slight spring to her step and rosy cheeks.

"So..." Celeste points out to Ebony. "How're things looking right now, really? Checkpoint's still alert last I checked, your "target" got away during the crowd kerfluffle, and Sarawr (mispronounciation intentional) left with a limbless cow dragging it to who knows where."

Leaning on her stick, she continues her part questioning and bemused tirade. "Any more hush hush stuff you got planned, or are we going to be camping out until morning food and briefing?"

Geordie had exited the building and pulled his heavy sand-brown cloak around him against the rain. He started heading back towards the checkpoint, but stopped when he noticed the blue-cloaked figure approaching. He casually ducked into an alley and tried to find another way back to the checkpoint, hoping the blue-cloaked figure wouldn't follow.

@EscortAlpha -pokes with a stick-

Geordie headed into the alley, then slowed to a stop as he settled on the reality that he was, in fact, being followed. He sighed and turned around to face his pursuer. "Can...I help you with something?" he asked nervously. "I don't want any trouble. I'm just passing through right now."

The walk to the checkpoint was uneventful, and Cyrus made good time. The guards seemed surprised to see him back so early, but said nothing.

Cyrus approached the all to familiar Void Scanner. He fished the bullet out of his pocket and held it up as he approached the device. "I'm testing this stray projectile I found," he told one of the guards nearby. "So if the alarm goes off, stand down. But be weary, because then we might be dealing with an active Warframe inside the city."

As he neared the scanner, it began to wail loudly, startling everyone nearby.

First floor? I was hoping for a nice view. Clogori thought to himself, heading to his room. His grasp on his briefcase only tightened, to the point where a couple veins were starting to pop out. He walked quickly, trying to get to his room quickly. He was careful of anyone that got close to them. All in all, he looked pretty on-edge.

He didn't have to walk far, his room being relatively close to the entrance. Thankfully, nobody was around to notice his odd behavior, as everyone was asleep at this hour.

He reached his room, which was opened by bringing his ID close to the handle. The door unlocked, and Clorogi could enter his room.

It was a suite with a large bed, a desk that looked to be made of an expensive wood, and a comfortable-looking chair. In the other room was a bathroom, a shower, and a sink. The sink counter was made of a fine granite, and the faucet-head was golden in color.  An Oil painting was hung up above the bed, and it took up about a third of the wall.

Clogori put down his briefcase on the bed, and began surveying his room, looking for cameras or any other things that may eavesdrop on him. He was very thorough, going through his entire room. Utmost privacy was needed for this mission, and he wasn't about to go blow his cover.

Several bugs later, Clorogi could finally breath easy. It would seem that the hotel owners had a great interest in what their residents said when they thought they were alone. It was hard to say if he had gotten all of them, however.

Confident he had gotten all of the bugs in the room, Clogori finally opened up his briefcase. Inside were a multitude of things, most of them illegal. There were several security cameras, all almost undetectable, for Clogori to place in his room. There was a single Magnus pistol and a Fang knife, both extremely lethal. Finally, there were hundreds of thousands of credits sitting at the bottom of the briefcase, taking up the rest of the space. Clogori got to work placing cameras, arranging them so he could see his entire hotel room, and putting them in places no untrained eye would see.

"Just thought I'd touch base." Svytoj said, keeping an eye on the tenno head of him. "Besides, with all the static around it, no-one would see it but you."

As they exited the room, they walked past Sarah, who was muttering to herself while inspecting the scythe. Numerous mutilated waterbottles surrounded her in a pool of water. A folding table (equally covered in water) had been set up for her testing.

"I'll have to change the grind," she murmured to herself, ignoring Jane and Celeste. "But other than that its ready to go."
