Deraios
Please, someone show me I'm completely wrong here but my intuition on physics tells me there's no possible way to draw or sheath this sword without "cheating" in-game, meaning that the shape and varying width of the blade do not allow it to be slid into the sheath from start to finish without the blade poking through the sheath several times during the process. A solution to this would be making a wider sheath so that the tip and the hand guard are the actual points of contact to hold it in place but the concave part of the edge and the concave part of the back do not touch the inside of the sheath. This would allow for an actual straight draw. This was shown in the latest Devstream and on Twitter:
LSG501
Something clipping through something else in warframe.... never.... Seriously I'd be more concerned if something didn't clip through something else in warframe, being kind of harsh here (but I do work in 3D) the 'solid body' masking is really poor on a LOT of items. Deraios
Yeah but at least that's not really intentional. This is just bad design from the get-go in my opinion.
INight00
Or maybe it opens from the front/ side. Like a mouth. Along the gold seam.
Railgun
Sword and weapon wise -- yeah, there's no way you can take this thing in and out of it's sheath as it is. But obviously Ballas can do it because of his mega hand and his orokin space magic
(PSN)Lei-Lei_23
Honestly, it would make sense if the sheathe behaved like the Longswords in Toukiden where the entire blade exists out of the side of the sheathe (blade-end) instead of the typical entryway... ... but the sheathe art for this sword shows otherwise.
