Based on a previous post there was the realization that we would have to double the content we currently have in the game, if so, to meet the Affinity amount to reach that Mastery Level of 30. In the long term there is a lot of content to have at the point to be a Completionist. By that measure more content can return like the Lato and Braton Vandal are with the Supra Vandal. These are possibilities that are rare and it leaves room for potential. Eventually however, regardless of opions and facts, there is going to be that gap that would have to be filled eventually.

For MR 25 we're required to acumulate 1,562,500 equipment expierience.
For MR 30 it's 2,250,000.
How is it doubled, exactly?

Well [DE] Steve answered the question 'When will warframe leave beta?' with "When there's enough content to get to MR 30 without the exclusives."

Weapons and frames/companions aren't the only way to get MR (even though they make up like 95% of it) but you also have to remember gear getting primed which technically cuts down on that extra content to reach MR 30.

Gap? What gap? If I understand you correctly, you mean MR 30 will not be reachable without old items, right? You really think once MR 30 becomes obtainable DE will stop releasing new gear?

Unless they make more Mastery Ranks or have more surprises in content.

The game doesn't revolve around mastery ranks. Most players are waiting for new gear to see new interesting mechanics, not MR fodder. And if there's constant demand, there's no need to stop with supply.

As a MR 25 the Tonkor, Simulor, and Telos Boltace have made some people comfortable; but over time we're spending even more time to get slots for pre-sets or trickle down the patience of other players as we swim through fun content that will deliver in it's own way or add synergy to team work.The same goes with pets. We have to get better versions of the Smeeta down the road, eventually.

Steve is lying. Warframe will never leave beta because it's a legal loophole.
