Hatsuzuki_KT
It's in Eastern Europe/Russia, thats for sure, but its also on the coast of something. Earth might have changed drastically in time between Humanity dying out in some kind of unclear Nier;Automata style extinction event and the Orokin controlling Sol but the continents are still the same. Does the map at all match anything we have today? It's a long shot, but it'd be pretty interesting to see they referenced actual Earth for once, lol. Firetempest
The icon isnt near it, but Sevastopol Севастополь near the black sea actually looks like it could kinda fit. But im pretty sure PoE is hand made or made from data thats not to scale and exaggerated.
Eldnacpeek
Steve stated in the Periscope in March that there's really no answer to that, and that he likes to believe Warframe is so far into the future, current locations/names are irrelevant.

(XBOX)The Neko Otaku
I feel like it's in South Africa on the cost, given that it has decent vegetation of large grasslands but it's no where near the mass genetically modified forest that are said to encompass a large portion of earth. From before the Technocyte Plague that ravaged Earth, it looks like Plains of Eidolon was a Game Reserve north of the Caspian. Specifically, getting up really close and compareing site geography on a map, it's in Astrakhan Nature Reserve, 300 miles (give or take) south of the city of Astrakhan. The wildlife doesn't ENTIERLY match up, thanks to Orokin restoration programs. But, it comes very close. Edited May 5, 2018 by Unus
