Option to NOT host

For some reason the game decides to make me the host of almost any public match I do, probably because I have a fast internet connection. What the game does not however consider, is my location. I live in South African, which is literally one of the furthest points from any server in the world, thus most of the time everyone has 200+ ping and start complaining. Can we please have an option to either JOIN or HOST a public game? I would rather endure a 200+ ping than have the rest of my squad have it.

The only negative thing I can see is that someone with knowingly bad connection would choose to host just for trolling. But then there is going to be guys like yourself so it evens out I guess.

Too many options is never a bad thing, + for me.

Unlikely to ever happen, people have been begging DE for this for many years now.  They have always said no to such an option.

This is one of the things I would love to see as a toggle, along with a 'Join in-progress session' toggle.

Another option, before the match/game starts a test of some sort is run and the one with the best connection is made host. Or, DE starts to add a file to everyone's login showing an average connection or lag score and this is used to determine the host.

then some people that doesnt want to host will notice that they are not finding any match and will disable the option.
