Dax and Lotus Armors for Operators !

 

Also an event would be nice;

" Operation : Star Child " ( couldn't find a better name )

• Buy / Craft Dax ( Teshin ) or Lotus Armor , wear either of them to show your support.
• There will be a mission to complete while Dax / Lotus Armor equipped on Operator. Mission can be completed once.
• Also there will be a bar similar to Invasions to show which side is winning ( gets supported more ).

Mission

• Exterminate Sentient Threat. ( Nothing complex , just kill X numbers of Battalysts / Conculsyts / Mimic-lyst )

Conditions

• Operator only.
• Void Cloak drains 2x more energy , Amps consume 2x more ammo.
• Level 50+ Sentients.

Event Reward

For everyone who participated event ;

• Operation : Star Child Emblem
• Operation : Star Child Sigil
• Star Child Amp Skin
• 1x Greater Lens for each Tenno School
• 100.000 Credits

At end of event ( depends on which side you supported ) ;

• Dax / Lotus Emblem ( with cool visuals and energy effects , like Quantum Tethra Badge )
• Dax / Lotus Sigil
• Dax / Lotus Glyph

For Winner side's supporters ;

• Dax / Lotus Articula
• Dax / Lotus Auxiliary Cosmetics ( similar to other MMORPG's visual auras ; Lightning Effects on Warframes for Dax , Swirling Particles for Lotus )

TEAM TESHIN or TEAM LOTUS , Who would win ?! :D

So there was an event like this before and well it just pissed everyone off due to winners receiving more stuff. So i doubt that'll happen and no I wouldn't like to see it either.

Well in those events , winners got exclusive event weapons ( released for everyone later ). There is nothing wrong with a few cosmetics ( they might get re-released later ).

Also people can be pissed off about literally anything , that wouldn't hold DE off of doing this kind of fun community events :)

I'd definitely like to see a event in this game because so far the only ones I've seen were repeats of Plague star and Razorback I think the names were. Not sure my mote amp welding, arcane less space hooman can survive a lv50+ sentient though.

This is a cool idea. And

I participated in this event. No one got pissed off because of the rewards. It was ligit the single best event in the entire fu¢king game. You had to fight for one of two factions, either salad v or Neffy boy. Tubemen of regor

You had to do a bunch of different stuff in order to fight for them, but essentially it's the same as OP's scenario. 

But at the time it was the fu¢king best. You had this ultra competitiveness going around the entire warframe community. The forums where filled with nazi *cough cough* Neff *cough cough* propaganda and glorious praises to our overlord salad v. 

The ingame chat was on fire, there was outcry, and propaganda youtube, and entire clans that split over clan mates fighting. It was the fu¢king best event ever and was so well done that it got the entire community of millions to really yet into the thick of it. 

It's one of the last few truly awesome events. The last actual event; plague star, was garbage in comparison and I really wish DE would do more events like Tubemen. 

 

From the replies to this thread, it looks like none of you where there and that's a massive shame. I can't possibly explain all the emotion and feeling of complete satisfaction at the the time. The game hit a new peak that month and I'm really sad you guys weren't there.

Yea , the feeling was intense in that event ; - ;

Whole community got split in half to support their event bosses.

Just imagine , this time community will be split in half to support either Space Dad or Space Mom. It can be the most epic event in WF :D
