He means how, since combo counter will no longer affect normal attacks, the spin attack with "meme strike" should no longer be the main/popular way of using melee weapons in high-end content. Oh sure, guaranteed crit - but it's based off a regular melee attack, not a melee attack receiving 3x damage + a whole bunch of crit from Blood Rush (Actually I'm VERY curious as to how that specific mod will change). Because instead Heavy Attack should be the hardest-hitting thing you can do. Maybe they could make Maim Strike affect Heavy Attack instead of Spin Attack. Kromatia Posted August 6, 2018 Share Posted August 6, 2018 Before we start criticizing and whining to mommy about our toys being broken, we should wait for these proposed changes. Maiming strike isn't going to get nerfed to the ground, nor will blood rush and body count. I have every confidence that what DE will do with aforementioned mods will be satisfactory to the meta slaves that rely on them and us casual noobs who simply enjoy getting tons of crits on a Glaive Prime without throwing it.
