I have to synthesize a simaris target without taking damage, using traps or using abilities while having a hobbled dragon key equipped. Any ideas on how to do this? Doesn't count against the inability to use abilities. Then just go find a target. The Grineer arid target is a good choice and then go to a Mars mission. Or just Google it. Also I recommend using Ferrox ( Corpus Speargun ) 's altfire , it traps target in place so you can easily scan it. Ferrox's ability to hold targets didn't work the last time I had to scan a target without using abilities etc. Not sure if it was a bug or a nerf to the only reason I actually keep the weapon around... Then just roll to target and scan uninterrupted without the target running around. Ivara has a little risk , she can take damage from traps ( such as Grineer Zap Mine ) or Shock Eximus Aura.
