For clarity there are plenty of anime, movies & games that have blood-red fluids that aren't necessarily blood. Ghost in the Shell's cyborgs & Evangelion's Eva AND Angels. Though all but the latter are human-ish to some extent. The proof is not in the blood-pudding. Anakin Skywalker & Son along with any Sith Lord come to mind as an opposing argument. Very human in their faults and passions, not that much blood depending on how you slice 'em. Cutting humor, sorry. I'm waiting for moar lore! Fervently hoping it wont break my Tenno heart. I'm just "thinking out loud" here... Taking another analogy I'd say the the Lotus as the mother figure we've all imprinted on when we first popped out of the cro-pod "egg" has a WHOLE LOT of explaining to do! +rep for Val and for the OP...
