  1. I think the idea is to make friends, and after you've played with them a while, gotten to know them and assured yourself that they aren't just going to loot and scoot, then you offer clan membership. S'just a guess on my part. But in fairness, I'm in a clan with two other Tenno, and we played together almost every night for nearly two years. But in the last year our RL lives have taken different courses, DE has made some choices they didn't agree with, and we rarely play WF together anymore. It happens.

If you're offering clan membership as an inducement to become friends, as one smart-aleck put it, "Well THERE'S ya prablum!!"  I'd counsel getting to know them first.

It was more a lore thing, I think my friend and I were talking about how some random person in Cetus would address the Warframe walking around shopping.

I'm with Zyneris: "Ho, Rhino!" or "Nice color choice, Saryn." If you're speaking to the Operator, it would be "Hey, Tenno!"

  3. Doesn't this really come down to the grind?

Either you understand that Warfrme R*E*Q*U*I*R*E*S grind, and you accept that - which means you're willing to grind for the Relics to grind for the Primes to sell for the Ducats to build this weapon. Or else you demonstrate that you don't understand and accept that by complaining about it here - in which case you're welcome to go play some other game, one that lets you have/buy what you want immediately, and don't have to have any patience or put up with grinding.

The one option that isn't on the table is for you to play Warframe and get all the Sparklies without grinding (or spending Plat, when that option is available).

Seems pretty straightforward to me. But that's me.

  4. Yeah, it sure would be nice if everybody would just see the world the way you do. But we don't. And we shouldn't be expected to.

Run along, child. Eventually you'll figure out that you aren't the center of everyone else's world, and we aren't required or inclined to give your personal point of view any more importance than our own. Until then - you win. Here's a trophy. Now run along and play.

I don't like others forcing me to leave, so I want group evac removed. Nothing contradictory there.

If we're in a survival arbitration and some people want to leave at 10 minutes, fine, but the game shouldn't automatically take me with them . Especially in this game mode because you have to wait to try again.

Then, as I requested, please don't say that other people playing the way they want "ruined" games for you.

I can agree with losing the group evac, but not with making all players playing one player's way.

"...I've played 3 games, two have been ruined because people evac after 10 minutes..."

"If you want to bottle out after 10 minutes then fine, but I shouldn't have to come with you..."

OP may have also said he wanted group evac removed, but seems pretty clear to me he also said he didn't like it when others forced him to leave.

I think you can see it either way. If OP didn't mean to say that people playing the way they want and forcing him to evac ruined games for him, then I respectfully withdraw my objection - with a request to to OP to be more careful how he says things.

  7. Perhaps you're speaking about yourself, and your own cheap approach to logins. But that's not how I did it.

Nearly 3000 hours in the books. When I logged in, I played. I paid for those rewards with a lot of time, and I think it's not fair that someone who's logged in a hundred times or so should have access to many of the same rewards it's taken me almost a thousand days to earn. But I tell you what; if it's so easy, then just do it - login and bounce out, just like you're saying.

    For one thousand days.

Then come see me, and we'll talk about "dedication".

  8. Wonder if DE could code some kind of visual buff toggle like "metallic sheen" on the 'frames of players who reached the 1000-day login reward. I mean, it would be a colossal PITA to do it on a player-by-player basis. But it would A) fit right in with Fashion Frame B) convey no in-game benefit to players who received it C) make players who reached the achievement stand out, and D) look faaAAAabulous.

    Just thinkin' outside the box...

  9. Just curious about how those of us who actually had to wait, and wade through hundreds and hundreds of days to earn these rewards will now be compensated for our time.

I mean, if players now get to pick'em out of a hat every couple of months or so, doesn't sound like it requires quite the same level of devotion, dedication, what have you...

    Just curious.
