It's about it being a thing that can happen, not about ways to avoid it happening to you.

Before we start, realize that it's not about how much or how little platinum it costs, but the fact that it costs any more than the 0 you intended to use.
So, something I initially didn't really think much of, but has been getting quite irritating to the point of realizing it's actually a pretty decently sized issue, is when you have platinum, and are accepting weapons out of the foundry.
The issue occurs when you have a tendency to hit spacebar to skip past various messages, like host migration, or in this case, the "you have accepted this weapon" message.
It's nice and all that it gives you an option to buy slots for weapons right there if you don't have enough to accept the weapon or warframe, but you should not be able to buy them with a common key used for skipping messages; or any key, for that matter.
Now, it's likely I would eventually buy more slots anyway, but I had full intent on saving the platinum for something else, and buying more slots when I didn't have weapons I was planning on selling to make room.
The solution should be obvious and simple; remove the option to accept with spacebar for purchasing messages entirely, or default it to "cancel".

I like what you did. It's about what i had in my head. Except that the eye isn't on the side but instead in the middle. And the teeth are bigger (so less space between the teeth) like a mouth. So it opens when you use the charge attack. For the rest is it a good match
Yeah, not too terribly sure I care for where I placed the eye, but I couldn't think of a good place on the side for it to fit. I did it in only a couple minutes, so it was mostly "what first came to mind".

Seeing your Orokin one got me inspired. I hope you don't mind my crappy drawing/painting (especially painting) skills, and the fact that my drawing program hates straight lines. Also I hope you don't mind my taking artistic liberties.

Do you mind if I put it with the other images in the main post? I wasn't particularly happy with how my Orokin design turned out, and this looks much better.

This is what I thought of with the description.
Looked at the Dual Ichor for the blades a bit, and figured the tendrils would wrap around the Tenno's arm while wielding.

Of course it would. Higher ranks in the mod would increase how many extra little branches you could shoot off, and you would be able to walk between lines as opposed to jumping between them.

I want them sexy weapons for my volt, hack slash and stab to death:P
Imagine the terror in the eyes of the enemy as a volt charges at them with a hyper-speed fricken poleaxe.
maybe just adding a new stance (like what you described) to the pole arm category would be good? I think it's awesome and it would even go well with the sydon, but making halberds an exclusive weapon class wouldnt make sense to me
In that case, it wouldn't make much sense for the existing staves, like the Bo. Using an axe or pike that doesn't exist would be a bit difficult.

Halberds are polearms, yes. So are spears, and staves. Claws and gauntlets are both fist weapons. Shortswords, greatswords, nikana, rapiers, and even the machete are all swords.
They're used uniquely to other weapons in their general category, and that is why.

What about only having one zipline, but you can fire 4+ offshoots from the first, so they're all connected to one, like a spiderweb?

Perhaps her passive ability would be a mild damage reflection against melee attackers, or some damage upon just touching her.

All they need is a little color to really capture the "essence" of the factions, imo.
Also @more corpus themed melee weapons, because the only one I can think of atm is prova.
Perhaps I'll add color at some point, but sketches are what I do best.

But... pay to win is an incredibly real thing in PvE. So that's silly.
Either way, he didn't refer to it as pay to win.

I wish he did a little more with the "you're not here for the story" comment, seeing as what story we do have is actually very good...

A katana like weapon shouldn't be wielded like a Galatine, weapons that are violently smashed against everything, using not cutting power, but blunt force, while Masamune and Muramasa are revered for its edges.
Although thinking about it, it should probably be a normal nodachi, and not that weapon by name, because you would have to create a Nikana Muramasa (although a dark looking Nikana would be cool)
I think was referring to that it's a larger, two-handed sword rather than another Galatine. I don't see any Galatine being wielded like the sword in the images he gave.

Apparently Castanas don't count as grenades because they stick to things and detonate on command. Guess having an explosive that detonates on contact is too OP to be a weapon.

Here's the difference:
You can't remove the possibility of a car accident.
You CAN remove the possibility of having your players accidentally spend money.
I usually appreciate a Devil's Advocate, but this isn't a situation where it's warranted.
