Don't say this is easy mode because you did see how someone else does it.
I see not so many players who can unlock full potential of bo's mobility, most of them just slide-zigzag to the nearest corner and don't fight back without abilities. These aren't very hard to deal with, unless there is a disparity in skill among teams and you are overwhelmed by other players.
On the other hand i see a lot of bo users who think like you and got their backside full of holes.
I dont see someone doing it, I see all of the people doing it, u just have to Slide, or do coptering, u dont need a "skill, amazing fingers" to do coptering and go around the map ziping and zapang...
"Full potential"? Dude, the only potential, its the range that different melee weapons have...
Its not hard connecting walls with melee movements, spamming it around the map...

Singular copter is already harder than most moves in the game. Chaining moves, controlling trajectory, time key presses and making a path is damn hard. This is why you don't see as many bo as you see secura cestras right now.
I see many Bo users, just coptering around or doing aerial atacks, connecting walls, its nothing hard to do.

Does not make it easy for bo user if you have hard time with him. Players who prefer boP just happen to have experience and skill in advanced maneuvers.
Coptering/ aerial atack/directional melee, its the most easy movement in game.
Currently Bo / P its a mobility tool.

Im just here and see how many people complain about melee users, and i say, u cant use directional melee/air atack/coptering?
Mobility weapons= Fang, Skana, Bo series... Kogake here too
Damage weapons= Gram, Kogake,Furax... etcSo u are asking for remove a different style of gameplay because u dont know, or you cant face that people...
Yes the knockdowns are common issue, but you have Mobility, and who choose damage weapons have his mobility reduced, a nice trade off if u see.
I just dont know how or why people complain about be killed for melee weapons when u have a lot of ways to make a nice evasion.
Im not a melee user, i like play with guns, soma prime/braton prime, and i never have problems with that people, just buy a mk1 bo and enjoy, I already can see people coming in future asking for nerf on Gelatine, and other heavy melee weapons.
Melee weapons have 2 types if u know how the system work (if we can call "system")...
Melee for damage = Less mobility Speed...
Melee for mobility = Less damage...

I see people who cant evade a Gram user.
Gram+ damage - Mobility.Damage= Gram, and Kogake
Nerf Gram and kogake= No damage on melee weapons, and no different gameplay Styles <- = Gun gameplay forced.
Mobility= Fang Prime, Skana (yes u can), Dex Dakra, Bo series, Kogake, Furax (yes u can too).
Gram its no the problem, u cant move fast and evade.EDIT: to OP
Hm without MM u can put an option in game to auto aim with melee. -
DE constant with nerfs on melee weapons for people complaining about it. Melee its too op, coptering good spin damage bad, make melee a movement tool etc etc etc.
So this game mode, its focused more on gun play, saying melee alone its too easy to play, damage reduction, increase the stamina consumition while blocking etc etc.
Actually we have all melee underpowered, except kogake and gram, and now they are complaining about the gram, they cant scape, its too easy to play with melee etc etc... So DE basically are listening about that feedback and making more and more and more useless the melee weapons.
I prefer the gun play, but i dont see why people who want to be melee alone cant play the same way like guns.
They talk about the lack of skill required for play with melee, so for that words, they nerf again, and again the melee weapons.
Now I think its coming a Gram nerf because people complain about be killed in 2 melee hits with a heavy weapon...
So maybe u can never going to be a melee alone player without complains. -
Parkour 2.0 will feature new Distance gap killeer way more eficient than coptering...
right?

I'm gonna be the happiest person on earth if the Gram gets nerfed, melee channel gets nerfed, and Martial Magnetism gets a rework.
It looks like NO ONE can avoid a gram user lol.
Im hope for a bo series atack speed nerf.
