  1. Wow... I've seen this a couple times lately as well, specially when good rewards show up. I never fall for those but it's a shame that the community starts making life hard for itself, as if we didn't have enough already.

I think they could implement some sort of small confirmation when you decide to go on alone, probably a 5 seconds window to pick stay or quit with the other choices locked so they don't troll back.

  2. I'm OK with higher/"late game" gear costing more resources, the thing is they sort of go overkill.

With nearly 4k hours the Hema took half my mutagen samples. I had to farm a bit of cryotic for sibear I think, but while it's not a problem for me due to the truckload of resources I've accumulated, I can see it driving newer players away. IMO They need to tune it down a bit, so that we grind our stuff as expected but not to a point where we burn ourselves and start hating the game for punishing us into a downward grind spiral.

And no, no upkeep. I hate it on the pets and that's bad enough. Pedestal prime was the prime example of  viable resource sink, if that's their point.

  3. On Chroma's Effigy and the Secura Lecta combo

This is a bit old, but since there's a lot of gray statements and from what I've tested and researched:

-Chroma on minimum str and ice so effigy gets fewer kills.

-Stay within 7m from effigy to get the 2x creds stacked on the lecta bonus (Source)

-Personally I've never seen the need for a trinity unless ppl are really bad at energy managing. Nothing a couple energy pads can't solve.

∴ People that just idle close to the effigy end up with way more creds than the people that move a bit to kill enemies. That's how I ended up with a 100k cred gap to another squad member in a run. This can be annoying specially when they start lollygagging and getting stuck in narrow passages... probably a chroma/speedva/loki disarm/nek (for extra goodies) would work better since it will force enemies to get close to the pod.

As for the lecta setup itself, I use Radiation/Viral for grineer, Magnetic/Poison for corpus and Corrosive/Fire for infested, with primed PP, primed Fury and primed Reach i get over 60% damage and kills in every lecta squad. Lesser infested units are resistant to corrosive but the sheer damage will drop dem down anyways. Also going for longer waves isn't really efficient since it will take longer to kill enemies; so while later waves spawn more mobs they also become beefier not to mention that people start dying etc.

Infested are also strong against radiation and viral. The little ones are weak to gas but you'd want to optimize against ancients and that means corrosive or blast. Most of them are weak to fire too. All grineer are weak to viral (cloned flesh). All corpus are weak to magnetic (shields) and poison (shield bypass).

Also, the only stats that modding changes on the effigy are the breath strength and the effigy's health and cost per second. So your range doesn't make a difference on the boost radius and powers reach of the effigy.

  4. Nah man, the Hema 5k mutagens were way overkill. We understand they always come up with time and grind gates, but that took half the mutagens I harmed in my almost 4k hours of gameplay. What worries me the most is that this could set a precedent for even more material requirements in future wep releases. 10k ampules? 20k fieldron samples? What will be next?

  5. Yeah guys... considering the amount of RNG Rivens involve, they are nothing but an obvious plat sale boosting tactic, and a commodity for the wealthy players. I don't think they're usable in Conclave or anything as to call it a "p2w tactic", it's just a trigger for people that can't stand not having their gear at top stats. Eventually they either buy plat (DE wins) or grind for an eternity (DE still wins, having active players).

Me, I'm not bothering anymore, gave up just like with focus points. And two out of my hard earned six rivens are for god danged sentinel weapons that I never equip anyways, so yeah...

  6. Nah it was OK. Not TWW/TSD level but still fun,  specially  the colony visit. A bit grindy yes, but that's just warframe.

In the match where Nef cheats, Lotus tells you to keep fightning regardless. Also in the last match you win back Neeva and Glast's possessions. I guess it's too difficult to pay attention to the small fonts when everyone's used to just mindlessly mow down fields after fields of enemies...

Which is ridiculous. Your post amounts to "Do it better". Which isn't helpful. If hotfixes are needed there are 2 choices. Deploy them or wait a while to deploy them, but even if you wait that SAME EXACT amount of MB will EVENTUALLY need to be downloaded. Given the internet speeds are constant for you, then waiting for that download will always be the EXACT SAME amount of time, whether it is broken up or all at once, whether it is 10 hot fixes in a week or waiting a month and doing it all at once and having to download for 3 days straight.

Either way the fixes are the fixes. Your argument is to not make as many fixes - in other words leave some things unfixed. I disagree. Fix them as soon as possible if the game needs fixing.

At this point I'm convinced you have lots of time and just want to argue. Go re read my post or just carry on.

Really? I mean, really? An update to a video game is too big. You know what that is? It's a shiny example of a first world problem. If you truly live the life of the third world, you have more serious problems than not being able to quickly update Warframe.

I'm giving my feedback as a customer. Not a problem for you? Great, carry on.

I was adding to your point. Not criticizing against it.

As someone living in the rural mountains with the closest town being 30 minutes away and maintaining an average connection speed of 6-0kbps, updates can take me literally days to get through.

I'd suggested taking a break because I didn't know if you were the rash type that gets upset easily...well, y'know.

Free download sites use my connection as a threat. Don't think I'm the happiest about downloads either. I don't really care, they just forcibly inhibit me from grinding more hours away

Whoa man, and I thought I had it bad.

Honestly all I can do is give my feedback as a customer - up to this point this had never been an issue, hotfixes were usually small and major updates well separated.

I hope they don't fall for the PD2 model of the crimefest, 1g+ daily updates of hell... they will surely chase away a considerable portion of the community.

In the hour or so that I played today post-update I had no issues but seeing all the turbulence i'll lay low until they sort their stuff out.

In otherwords please don't make the game better because you don't want to download a lot of data. 900mb and 800mb are 3 minute downloads for me and many others, why shouldn't' a game developer do all they can to put out a great game? I'd rather wait a whole day downloading a better game than have them not update their game.

Fam, theres been 9 hotfixes in 1 day before.

Tbh I love seeing all these people preaching "its a beta lmao, your own fault nerd" and its like no you see, this game has been beta forever now. its going to be. that way they can keep throwing out whatever updates they want to direct their game accordingly. including mass overhauls because "why not" thatd be fun.

Your best bet is to get used to it, though it never hurts to take a break and put the game down for a while.

Rip whoever lost however much whatever, at least you can grind it back up and the only cost is your time  :')

You two are completely missing my whole point.

@SpookXIII I don't mind 10x 24mb hotfixes in a day, that downloads pretty fast in thru any potato internet. Take a break? Did I say I was bored or something? After 3 or so years playing I know not to burn myself over a legendary core.

@Shockwave- You and your pals have good internet? Good for you! Now Re read my post.

If you think i'm against updates or something go and re read my post. My feedback for the team is to take "the rest of the world" into consideration when managing their content releases.

  10. As much as we are grateful for the frequent updates and additions, you guys shouldn't take the OVERKILL path of a few gigas updates every few days, for developed countries users it's nothing but here in 3rd world we take a serious hit each time you roll one of those out (And it's one of the main reasons most of my friends and me got rid of PD2) We had a 900mb update a few days ago, now another 800mb? Please...

You guys talk about maxing prime mods as if it was something you do every Saturday night, I feel that the pricing is pretty ok, remember as well that between maxing and one short from max is half of the price and ends cost but only one tent of the benefit so if you really require to have that 1/10 more you may as well pay for it

I'm not complaining about the fusion costs, I've lived over 3k hours with them and we are used to them; I had many rare mods stuck at rank8 for months and maybe years following the idea you mentioned.

But you see, this sculpture business was introduced as an alternative to the old core farming. Schopenhauer said that we are fulfilled as long as we are working towards a goal, and without much else to do I went on finishing homework and trying this ayatan proposal but as it is currently, it's rather a sour thing. I'm willing to pay, as I have always, but introducing another expense on top of what we already had was uncalled for.

Some people are happy casually playing and couldn't care less about this... that's ok, but some of us do care.

I still find this ridiculous... whatever, i'm not lucky enough to find so many of them.

Is that the trade between players? Imagine paying tax 1. Trading for them 2. Converting them into endo 3. Using them in the fusion process... preposterous.

BTW those are all I've gotten since their introduction by diligently soloing and exploring, which for me was a nice alternative to the usual mindless carnage but I guess it isn't after all.

  13. So after a week of diligent exploration I went to miss Maroo to trade my hard earned ayatan blingblings. Much to my surprise I was greeted with this:

    ayatancharge2_zpsfp9qsni1.jpg

Simply outrageous. Not only we have to be lucky to find them, then complete them, but also a tax for getting the endo? Considering maxing a rare or primed mod easily takes almost 2m creds, on top of that we also have to pay for the endo? this simply is not sustainable nor experience enhancing. I do have several million creds but this is bad, even worse for those unfortunate to have paid for sculptures. With fusion cores at least, when you got them by either playing or trading you could use them right away; the fusion level up credit cost is hindering enough!

TL;DR Remove ayatan sculpture endo extraction cost. They're hard enough to get and fusion cost is also high enough.

  14. DE sort of shuns off soloing tbh, so don't expect many QOL changes in that direction.

About the void traces it seems more like it's triggering your OCD... don't worry I know that feel too. But then people would hang in missions endlessly farming them and DE wouldn't want that.

Agreed witht he Embolist, it has been a topic for quite a while and more now with the recent "embolist revival"

  15. Sup people. I'm interesting in trading any of these Smeetas for an Adarza of similar ears.

    smeetas_zpso6h9d9ck.png

I also have two persian adarzas but i'm not a big fan of folded ears, and after 52 genetic codes retrieved I don't want to ever see the derelict again.

    EDIT: Already traded ;D
