  1. I think the current system hasn't changed has to put some balance in the loadouts, so if you want a silent weapon, you will have to sacrifice a bit of raw power, same if you want zoom, ammo mutation, faster reload, etc.

Otherwise everyone would just slap all the dmg/multishot mods and on top of that add the "tactical" mod.

  2. They beat me to the power strength explanation. Agree with the nek changes,

His skills should backup him more directly, giving how squishy he is.

If you desecrate, you have to

    a. Pray to RNGod for orbs to appear

    b. See if those orbs actually fill your health/energy meters

    c. Attract a lot of fire while maneuvering to reach the orbs.

Either explosive minions or the healing/giving energy to you or your team upon death seems interesting. I mean Trinity completely heals, Limbo restores energy, why do nekros-supported squads have to put their lives on the line to reach a 25 energy/health orb?

  3. Sorry OP but after reading your post... even if you put a long text playing with words, I see the main problem is entirely subjective.

As you can see I'm a "disciple" which was the lowest tier of Founder pack (money in 3rd world doesn't come by easily) and just as many other people I missed excalprime, latoprime, 'kanaprime and many other shiny stuff, including event weapons that I missed during a long inactivity and even the new PA exclusives. Does that trouble me? used to , but not anymore. There's a lot of good gear available and cool cosmetics available if you're willing to pay for them.

You feel left out because of the bling given to people that arrived first, but think about how your demand for blings for people that arrived before the future players will only start another cycle of bling complaints. There will always be someone unhappy about this kinda stuff.

My humble opinion, we need to get over these small things.

  4. I like shooting things.  Sure, hitting the cap is kind of an "oh darn" moment, but I've been playing for giggles without a background grind for a while now, I can continue to do so again.

And though I really dislike linking reputation caps to mastery rank, I simply don't like the concept of mastery rank to begin with, especially with how many unobtainable exclusives there are floating around in this game.  Oh well, guess I get to level weapons I know I won't really give a hoot about.

I missed a lot of event guns yet i hit MR17, so.

At least there's an incentive to actually play the game and not just sit and drink greedy milk (or forgetting the game) after getting a boltor P.

The current approach to the whole syndicates thing seems much more appropriate than what we previously had.

  5. From my point of view, there were many, many well documented and composed feedback threads on the Viver thing, explaining the issue and even suggesting solutions - basically doing for free what the devs are paid for - but it was pretty much ignored til that update thread hit the 50th page of protesting replies... so I guess some fire is needed in order to change the world from time to time?

Of course there will be rant posts, that's just the world we live in.

  6. Eh. I see no difference, meaning no need to worry.

There's a difference between being the lone master of your house, and having someone else owning more than half of it.

Of course economics are deeper, but this will have an effect. I'm just hoping it doesn't hit as hard as many other examples seen around.

  7. Guess I'm late to these news... and I'm more worried than before. Really worried.

As I understand it, Warframe started as an independent project, seeking freedom of ideas and room for creative experiments; these people that just stepped in aren't game lovers or anything close, they're in for the profit.

You could say they have no powers but again they own the majority of the company, and I wouldn't be impressed to see pressure put on increasing profit and the usual development and creative stuff dragging behind.

Hoping we don't reach the tennopocalypse!

    -snip-

    PvP Syndicate arena?

    -snip-

    Sorry but no.

Keep your pvp stuff away from my warframe, dark sectors are enough of a nuissance.

As an old player my love for the game (and many people's love) was the core PvE, PvP came because of the vocal CoD/etc fans.

Challenges to rank up? sounds like a good idea but it should not be done in a few days, as people will again start to cry for "more endgame".

We do need faction specific enemies and mission objectives, hunting random grineer/corpus for no apparent reason is not really immersive.

  9. I think this update broke the Guinness record of hate... btw not participating in the moustache thing, since I already uninstalled the game.

Also, No need to be dramatic, as old players pack up their things and go 100 new players replace them. WF is far from dying.

Have fun peeps, I hope this gets addressed properly...

  10. That does not justify the decision to reduced 3 frames' abilities to the dust for being used.

We all have seen mastery 0 in Sechura node, farming credits. Should DE adjust dark sector credit reward from 23,000 to 1,000?

I never said it justified the extreme measures taken (And I'm against them).

I'm just trying to figure out why they were so extreme and swift, when many other issues have been clinging for long.

This takes us to another problem, the infamous taxi system. But I guess that's food for another day.

    -------(l-- Dragon Nerfana --l)-------

    -snip-

now i'm rank 5, after last weekend in 1 day(saturday) rank 3 -> 5, and sunday: sigils and mods(warframes, weapons and blablabla).

    -snip-

Starting to see the problem. Even new/lowbies were in viver all day, unsurprisingly carried by higher tier players (clanmates?). Not impressive since I've seen some MR2 people rolling boltor primes, so yeah.

  12. -snip.¿-

Top tier patch. Nerfed mediocre warframes because players used them to bypass a horribly long, boring grind wall. Or maybe PWE actually -is- influencing the game..

This caught my attention... Quite extreme measures... and still find funny how they don't mention the changes were aimed at that specific mission, but everybody knows it ;)

  13. I'm just impressed at how swiftly they hammer anything that could make the game less grindy.

Who-ever is in charge of coming up with ideas (and decisions) to keep the game grindy, is doing an excellent job.

I wonder if making it slightly less grindy will affect finances at all, considering how popular WF is, with the recent rep boosts for winning the MMO showdown and its general popularity in Steam.
