  1. +1 to the revert all Dante changes crowd.
  2. "Final Verse’s “Pageflight” no longer applies increased Status Effect Damage to enemies hit by its Paragrimms." Will be reverted and become an augment later down the line.
  3. With major issues. LOS changes have caused bugs with Dark Verse - Patch notes state Final Verse and all sub spells would be subject to LOS with no mention at all of Dark Verse. Dark Verse now no longer hits enemies through walls, they can't be primed. Needless to say this on top of everything else makes these nerfs HUGE. However. I have taken to the old Tweet machine and have seen the Warframe account has put this out: There is a major problem with the way Line of Sight is implemented on Dante at distances and on ragdolls in Hotfix 35.5.3. We are hotfixing again tomorrow to address this. These are not final changes, however, and we will continue improving from here. Now... Does this mean Dark Verse will be restored or does it mean there is some other interaction they aren't happy with? I have no idea. But there are other things I have noticed. I will not report on them yet should they be subject to change as of tomorrows update. However, nothing good has come of any of this. I am beginning to think all of my initial fears for this Warframe are coming true...
  4. I haven't had chance to check yet. I might do that now before mathing out the rest of the changes just to see... Honestly it already feels bad enough in the Similacrum already. I can still nuke out in the open but it doesn't feel right having to spend so much on 2,2,3 spam. Overguard setup and maintenance now feels like it will interrupt all other functions meaning it will make the frame seem more clunky overall. Dante was smooth as butter before. OG generation probably needed to take a hit, but 50% in number form has cascaded into more than an overall 50% change on my build. I think the LOS changes might actually be the thing that affects him least. But Noctua feels off for some reason too, I need to make sure it's interacting with my Arcanes properly still. The jury is definitely out on Wordwarden being upped by 20% though. It was already a terrible ability in gameplay standards, but leaning on it more seems a really bad decision. They want less automation yet buff his "Set and forget" abilities while nerfing his active ones. I'm really at a loss. I'll go solo some SP Alchemy for an hour or so and see if I adjust or if it just feels bad.
  5. My direct findings on my build while generating Overguard. Overguard generation using Light Verse and Triumph. Cast strings, amounts and times pre and post nerf: 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 // Maximum OG in 6 casts costing 310 energy in total and approx 5 seconds cast time. 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 // Maximum OG in 18 casts costing 930 energy in total and approx 20 seconds cast time. (128% Duration 45% efficiency 175% Range 343% Strength) Build was not changed after Nerf. Those of a more observant manner amongst you will notice this is more like a 300% nerf than it is 50% - or at least that's how it turned out for me.
  6. And they just did it... I haven't fully tallied all the nerfs up yet but I just looked into the "50%" nerf on Overguard. Spoiler it isn't equivalent of 50% it actually costs 300% more of everything to generate the same results as before. Like I said, I haven't even examined the other stuff yet, but Overguard has been gutted.
  7. C'mon, call it what it is... Overguard gen just got annihilated. 18 casts to reach my cap now. I yield to 2 casts being too little... 18! are you crazy!? 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 - 2,2,4 (That's the cast string in black and white.) That. That right there costs me 465 energy in "Light Verse" casts and another 465 energy in "Triumph". I have 769 energy and all of this is without accounting for any other casts. It also adds up to about 19.5 seconds of continuous cast time with 2 Tauforged cast shards. it used to be around 5 seconds. So. That's a 50% nerf on effectiveness but in actuality it's put the cost of everything to do with overguard up on my build by nearly 300% I don't consider that a tweak. [edit for bad spelling]**
  8. Me too. Was running Youtube on my second monitor and went to my Helminth and the thing happened - crashed me out of the game and auto opened the Hardware Failure tab of the Warframe website.
  9. An easy thing to say. It's the first time I've invested in something and had to second guess it because someone has altered the terms so close to the transactions end. But noted. I have definitely learned something from all of this.
  10. I'd take both of those changes. But ambiguity is still ambiguity. That said I'm a hopeful pessimist, unfortunately the pessimism tends to win most of the time especially when all the cards are on the table. Hindsight is always twenty twenty... This would be my first example in nearly 11 years of it feeling bad and therefore being the experience I needed to now know what you clearly know better than I did. Accepting that fact and knowing it though, two different things aren't they? It's unfortunate. But you are right. Having this feeling will certainly be remembered and will allow me to think twice in future.
  11. Unfortunately I can't do anything but do this to myself. However I hope you're right. Anything beyond a little tweek will not only seem excessive, but will be disheartening. It's one of two times I've gone all in on a Warframe. The first time other than what people thought, it didn't bother me. I was still having fun. This time I have way more invested and by that same standard, way more to lose.
  12. Need to go back and read my OP chief. I didn't say just Dante. There were many other things involved.
  13. None of us have. But that's the point. As you so adequately put it - this has been speedrun and we have no details at all. Drastic action, minimal communication. It's only amplified, to me personally, by the fact that Dante plays exactly how I wanted him to. They change him too much or nerf him too much and they take away what I was enjoying. Change is self explanatory - but if they nerf him to a point where my Sevagoth - A Warframe people just don't use - outperforms him say, and then what's the point in me even looking for a secondary or new main. A real punch in the mouth after only five days.
  14. 1500 plat and time spent. It feels deep enough for me to mention it. Thanks for downplaying another persons experience you clearly don't share in though. And no I won't give you a listed itinerary of where and how I spent it. Just know I did.
  15. I have a power strength, augmented Reap build for Sevagoth and a grouping Melee/Health tank build for his Exalted Shadow. It allows me to play two roles/Warframes/playstyles all in one package and flip whenever the mood suits. I can set Goth, the weapons I want and literally have no use for any other Frame except Loki for stealth missions.
