  1. I like the idea in theory but it seems like it would mean the optimal way to get affinity for conclave would just be finding someone and holding m1 on each other until the round is over. Whether that in itself is a problem is up to opinion but it does mean it would be harder to just play the match as intended.
  2. It's only an issue specific to PVP because all PVM modes will cut your rewards to 0 for going AFK over a certain amount of time. This seems to have been forgotten to be implemented when it comes to alert rewards or maybe just PVP in general.
  3. I'm really tired of the mass of players who feel entitled to the alert rewards without putting in the 30 minutes of effort to actually play it. This IS against the rules and ruins the experience of everyone who actually does wish to play the game. As there is no in-game report system, I'm making this post to make it a little easier to know what to do. Use shadowplay or other recording software to get the player AFK on video. You will need this as an attachment later. Multiple occurrences is best. Then open their profile from the ESC menu to get their tag, platform and discriminator. Screenshot this for an attachment later. You can also include the leaderboard at the end showing their 20+ deaths and no kills or oro. Go to https://support.warframe.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and Click Report User or Hack, filling out the necessary details. Longer videos may not upload as an attachment and you may need to trim them.
  4. I agree these issues exist but the arguments most are making is "scythe make me go forward, game bad" while they are well aware how the scythe works and continue hammering E expecting it to suddenly do something else for the hundredth time in a row. This is not the fault of the game but players who have no ability to adapt or learn. It's not a very good weapon, but it's not the primary weapon you're supposed to be using anyway. It's a snowball fight, not a candy cane fight. And I would put absolutely 0 weight into what you observed other players doing, because most players don't even sprint, roll, bullet jump, regular jump, or slide. And they deserve to have a bad experience for it if they won't engage with the mechanics. The inconsistencies with connection are a valid complaint, though they also do not occur when the alerts aren't up as there are enough dedicated servers for everyone. This is still a fault in the mode and DE should put up temporary servers for the duration of the event to account for the extra players.
  5. It's not the game's fault you can't hit a predictable projectile weapon.
  6. Warframe has one of the best movement systems of any game ever released. The skill ceiling is just about infinite and the amount of expression in how you can move is limitless. Little of this matters in PVM because none of the PVM is even remotely hard. Enemies don't move or dodge with any kind of intelligence and 90% of them might as well be standing still. In PVP your skills with these incredibly fun and rewarding mechanics is actually tested in a way that matters.
  7. Yeah. The average player just continues doing the same braindead thing as before and dies. I've been in enough squads to see this. I agree with your point, though. The game never really requires you to do much of anything, but the casual playerbas3 also hated content like eidolons and profit taker and grendel's missions that did have unique mechanics and a skill incentive, and then DE stopped adding content like that.
  8. Warframe's PVM skill floor is so low its all the way down in the earth's core. Years of being able to solve every mission by just picking revenant and an ignis, or sitting in a limbo bubble and shooting at enemies that literally cant do anything, or spamming an ogris with protea down the same hallway means the the game plays itself with no opposition or challenge or thought required and it is clearly rotting players brains to the point they have thousands of hours and have not picked up on the fact the skill ceiling is extremely high if you actually challenge yourself and don't just take the path of no resistance every single time. it took me half of a single round to adjust to the quirks of the snowball and scythe. my experience with movement carried over to pvp because i actually try to improve and master the games i play. most players are going to move in very predictable ways if you just pay a little bit of attention to how they act. 5 minutes of basic level problem solving later and i already can lead shots, use the spin attack and animation cancelling to avoid spiraling away with the melee (something you should have picked up on from like, 5 minutes of pvm anyway) and figure out how to use the tools given to succeed. spoiler, its not even a little bit hard. i'm scared for this game. DE will never do anything experimental, challenging, avante garde that might need some kind of learning curve when they realise their player base's response to even the slightest bit of opposition or obstacle to overcome is to just give up immediately and blame the game for it without trying for even a single second to try and improve or adapt, and maybe just maybe find that this game has a massive amount of depth to uncover and having to do something other than holding down a beam weapon or spamming an aoe the size of a small town to solve all their problems, god forbid, overcome a challenge in a video game, that might actually be fun. tldr skill issue
  9. Claimed Gotva right at the 30 minute mark, but it isn't appearing hours later.
  10. As simple as the title says. There are a lot of mods now that are exclusive to nightwave reward paths, when they should also be obtainable in the shop or at the very least added to Baro's rotation. Keeping them exclusive to reward paths both makes the supply extremely limited, as at the very best every player currently in the game can only get one, and then everyone who starts playing after that or takes a break will never have that option. I say never because DE seems uninterested in ever bringing back these mods. Wild Frenzy, Napalm Grenades, and Bursting Mass were last available 3+ years ago. Meticulous Aim was last available 2+ years ago. Efficient Beams was skipped over (or more likely just forgotten by the devs) when it was supposed to return, and thus hasn't been available for 4 straight years. I could go on, but not a single one of these mods has made returns anywhere close to an acceptable frequency. Many of these mods are extremely important to a weapon's usefulness, and DE has made their stance on exclusive mods clear that they are not supposed to exist given the return of Primed Chamber in the past. They've just forgotten to have any level of consistency when it comes to these. If you want these mods, all you can do is fork up ludicrous plat prices on Warframe.market. That total is 1,474 platinum at this moment, going only off currently online listings. About 75 USD for a handful of mods. But at least you can get them that way? Well, not if you want Eximus Advantage and Metamorphic Magazine, because you can't trade those there. So you're just not getting those until DE brings them back in 3–10 years or waiting in Maroo's Bazaar the rest of your life for someone to be selling some of the most obscure items in the game... which they won't, because they'll never be able to replace it. This has no place in this game. Why does Nora even have a shop offering previous rewards if the ones with actual gameplay value aren't included? She brings back cosmetics from previous events every single time, but the rewards that actually matter are ignored, and their price gets inflated to an unreasonable level.
  11. I agree that it should be a separate option, but it really does need to exist, or at the very least they could release primed recoil mods that reduce it by 100% if they don't want to bother implementing a change like that. I could probably count on one hand the number of guns recoil is significant enough to actually affect how someone would use the weapon, so I really don't think it's that important to keep around. Unfortunately, the mods we have aren't always enough to help my stomach, and rolling a -recoil riven could take potentially hundreds of hours grinding kuva, not to mention the plat cost, for every single weapon you would need it.
  12. 1: The screen shake toggle doesn't help with the primary source of screen shake in the game 2: I specifically said the screen shake toggle should make the reticle shake instead. If you don't have a problem you don't have to toggle it.
  13. I am not someone who gets motion sickness, but warframe is a game that absolutely loves to shake the entire screen all the time, 24/7, for doing any and every action imaginable. Disabling screen shake in settings doesn't do anything about recoil, and now with the circuit I do not simply have the option to use weapons that don't have recoil like I've always done otherwise. This game is making me physically ill with almost every single weapon in the game, with every graphics setting turned down as low as possible to try in vain to mitigate this. It doesn't help. We're 10 years in, and we still don't even have the bare standard accessibility features like this. It's embarrassing. Make the screen shake toggle actually do its job and move the reticle instead of the entire screen, and you won't be making your players constantly feel like they're going to puke.
  14. If you're using arcane blessing on umbra and use transference, he is instantly damaged to his base max health without the arcane stacks whenever you transfer back in.
