    I agree with the things you said. Her Hysteria should be active when you press the button and not after the animation where she stands in one place and does nothing for 2 seconds.

    The idea for the 3 sounds interesting.

    Every frame has a theme so any frame is some kind of special. If you dont see that then I dont know how to explain it to you. Valkyr also has a theme dont get me wrong but to be as efficient like any other frames without abilities in terms of melee combat if not worse it... just bad. She just gets speed and armor... you can acquire speed on other frames with Berserker or (Primed) Fury and the armor is just a bad "damage reduction". When you look at how many frames have 90% damage reduction and then you look at Valk... it gets pretty obvious.

    I agree. Its the only part of her kit that is rely good. but even then it bugs out if you have to much power -.-

    She is outdated. She is not special anymore nor does she fit the role of a berserker or melee based warframe in the moment if you compare her to other frames.

    Because why? Do you play Valkyr alongside other characters? Do you realize that you have often the same impact if not a better if you just using a frame with a melee weapon than using Valkyr with a melee? Thats a pretty bad thing IMO.

    They are not bad. Thats the reason why I would not change her 4 at all but the other abilities.

    It is a set and also usable at any other frame... so also nothing that speaks for Valkyr.

    If we just had other weapons with a lot more range that could be better than her claws... oh. Right. Berserker and any pole arm, staff or whip crit weapon. Build a zaw and her claws look like a joke. The only special thing about them is life steal and I have a zaw that is with healing return much more efficient.

    Yes I read it and I agree with you. I was not sure how I could replace her line but with a strongly reduced energy cost and faster animations it could be usefull.

    The thing with a finisher when using Pound is that it is almost like a ashe teleport and I would try to make it a little bit different.

    Also I like the idea of a support warcry. That would really benefit low armor warframes when it would use Valkyrs armor values instead.

  6. Hello there,

     

    I dont know why but Valkyr is my favorite Warframe. Its one of the first Warframes I farmed the primed version for and since then I played her in all kinds of missions. But then I played other frames and Valkyr started to feel... not so special anymore. She is a melee frame but in the end she just gets more attack speed out of weapons and even then they bug out if you use to much power on her. So there is no real reason to play her. So lets begin with the problems.

    Her 1: I dont know but I heard that in the past there where no such things as bullet jump or so. It came later. I have the feeling that her 1 is a relict out of that time where mobility was not so common. What I want so say is that her one is obsolete. You never use it. Vs enemies its a single target CC that more or less ragdolls the body across the room and for mobility you have wallcilmb and bullet jump that dont even cost energy and are better to control.

    I think its about time that she gets some kind of a "anger restore" ability where she stores damage dealt to her over a time (like 15 seconds) and then gets a general damage and movement speed buff which gets stronger if you lose more health (also about 15 seconds long). Every 100 maybe +25% damage and +15% movement speed.

     

    Then her 2. All in all its just a armor and melee speed buff. And the melee speed bonus is often bugged if you have to much power. I would change the speed to a simple melee attack bonus. That would make her the ultimate melee frame. We have mods like Berserker and Primed Fury that makes a speed buff often times just so fast that it bugs out and then... I would suggest give her a flat melee damage buff and remove the attack speed. Other wise it is fine.

    Her 3... I dont really know why you would use a short distance CC that uses your shields as a resource. Finishers? Thats all it is used for. You dont really need that if you just could kill it with your melee weapon as a melee. You could use a dagger and CL to insta kill it yes... but then why use Valkyr in the first place for that?

    I would suggest a leap to get into melee range like garudas 1. A simple jump with a cost of 15 or 20 energy and a rihno like shockwave that deals no damage but nocks enemies down in a 5 meter radius. That would help her to get into action pretty fast. Maybe a base range of 20m would be acceptable.

     

    Her 4 would stay the same.

     

    I really like Valkyr and I hope that DE revisits her. It is time to make her a true berserker and show the other frames what a melee based frame CAN do!

  7. Revenant is underrated... he does not need a rework. Believe it or not. Just because he is not OP does not say that he is bad. Wity the right build you can go ez vs any level of enemies and win. He is just not so interesting or OP in one aspect to be played by the majority. Still no reason for a rework... why does this community even want reworks for frames that are fine...

    The D3 system does not directly translate to Warframe.

    Tier 10 has the same modifiers as boosters you get from the Market. How is a high level worth DE giving away boosters? Also, this would completely destroy matchmaking.

    If you grind things you dont take a difficult level. Even with a bonus of 100% it would take longer to kill a bunch of enemies at level 150 than at level 30. So it would just even out the effort. The one kills more enemys with lower and the other just a few high level enemies. Like I said: a level slider would not work because of matchmaking. Make a hard, master and grandmaster mode like in anthem and work with that kind of stuff.

  9. Hey I would consider myself also a Kitty main and have to say that your ideas... are not great at all.

    I would suggest that her one should be what the hysteria augment is: a leap into melee range. She is a melee character so that would be better than the Ripline. I never used it ever and I play her a lot.

    Her two is totally fine. I would like to see the melee speed gets changes to a melee damage buff. In the moment with to much power your weapons bug out. I understand the point of it but if we have such things like primed fury and berserker already it should not just be attack speed. But that's personal preference. And yo the aura as you call it: it's the same with 3. She is not a CC frame nor does she need it.

    So yo the three: if you use it for damage... you do something wrong. I also dont dont like this ability so much because we try to half the already not existant shields. You should use 8t to engage a group of enemies then use it and do a finisher on the strongest target. I think that is the reason for that skill. But I also want to change that.

    Now to Hysteria. Stop comparing Hysteria to Exaulted blade. They are totally different. In Hysteria she is immune and has livesteal so that she can recover lost health. I even build a new Valkyr prime to have a Warcary and a Hysteria Valkyr.  I also think that it should be stronger but I would say: let us see what melee 3.0 brings. Steve stated that you can change weapons in hysteria with melee 2.9. If that's the case without going out of the mode or could be a timed God mode even without using the claws that also could be a lot stronger with the fixed range of primed reach then.

     

    That are my opinions about this.

  10. Tennos should just be a gimmick and not for main things. I for example hate operator related things (also a reason that I just have dont Eidolons twice or so because of the operator usage). Tgey should not be even close to be so powerful as the warframes are. They are also a reason why they dont fight normally and let the warframe do the job.

    So no. Dont give the operator more power.

    This. Also missions dont take so long that if you really wanted to grind something had to invest hours for the daily cap. Give it one hour (or 20 extractors at Pluto... forget the name again...) and it's done. The content right now is even suitable for people that just have an hour per day and with that some things would be yo do for players that have more time but hey I am is optimistic that wolf of Saturn could be some kind of "something to do".

    In the end the system functions the way it should.

  12. I played a good amount of D3 and even to the highest level. It's pretty similar to Warframe because with the right build you can do anything. The cool thing about D3 is that you farm legendary items to try out new stuff. They also have an endless level (paragon level) that also have a skill tree.

    So first of I would love such a system. Yes people could cheese it but that is not the point not to implement is. I would gladly take a not OP to such a mission to test me personal.

    Then I would not change invisible frames. Maybe make some seeker annoys that can see and attack invisible frames but pls give them time to react.

    So all in all I would love to see that kind of system but it would be different than in D3. A normal level slider would also be not enough. Lets see if DE sees it.

  13. 1. You have to use it more carefully. I know it's annoying but it makes movement more interesting. We have enough ez things that dont take thinking. So a no from my side.

    2. Dame as one. Keep it in mind and if you use it often maybe work on your playstyle.

    3. I am with you here. It's important to have a good sensitivity. For a lot of people it would pretty great.

    4. I dont know about that one but to customize it would be pretty cool to for some players. Also agree with that one.

    5. No. Same as 1 you have to calculate it and there are a few mods that makes that better and benefit in other aspects so it would render some things useless so no. I also dont like that one.

     

    1,2 and 5 are not QoL it just make the game easier as a hole. Dont like them.

  14. So first of I have read everything on this thread and I really like the ideas. Especially important for me:

    - implement linear scaling for enemies

    - removing +damage mods

    - changing multishot

    - cap armor on enemys

     

    I would make the game a lot better in the moment its is like at the beginning really cool because we can kill the enemy but they are dangerous, then we get stronger and enemies are weak until a long mission comes along where we wait 30 min to have a good fight for the next 10 minutes and then we get enemy's that are to strong because of scaling. That is a problem. A huge problem. The only good thing in anthem is the fight system. You get a equip power level and the enemy scales to that level and stays that way. There are stronger enemies (elite and legendary units) that are a lot stronger and are pretty hard to kill. I would love to see that also here in warframe. In defense and survival there could just spawn "elite" units and then instead of legendary units we got eximus ones. That with nox and bursas could create a good around experience. I know that people hate the power level system because it locks them out of things but we dont have to give everything a "min power level of X" sign. In our case mods could represent power levels (indicating from bonus damage and so on) while all warframe have a level of 0 and also weapons. Just with the mods its gets harder. Thoughts about this? Otherwise I really enjoy this thread. Please keep up the work on it. I hope DE sees it.

    day 7: vorkrill and sarge should be dead, a big chunk bitten into jupiter, maybe go for broke and bust alad

    day 8: taxis to hydron whenever starchart gets stale, main quests should start around now

    day 9: second dream should be over right now, main goal is now to get all the important nodes, mainly t4 void

    day 10: uranus and neptune should be done for, so should pluto. sedna should probably be a bit of a way through.

    day 11: void should be reached,  hains of charrow done for

    day 12:  sunbro here  should be MR6, next 10 days are grinding for amp components in fortuna

    day 22:  bro now has: working amp, leveled frame, strong weapon, mr 6 minimum, and can now pull weight.

     

    is this even possible? i  just  wanna help my G

    And THAT kind of agenda is bad. Just plain and simple bad. You rush everything in a month. You can do that but he will experience nothing. You make an error like other stated. trust us. Its not worth the "end game".

    Nope. You cant use guns in hysteria and also melee 3.0 will not change that.
