  1. This is just a rough draft I thought up on what I believe Khora could have been like if they stuck to her original impact, puncture and slash modes instead of changing it.

I am aware that they're improving her abilities as they are now to make her more functional, I'm posting this in the hopes that DE will realize the potential they had for making Khora stand out with something other than Venari, and that they'll try to reach out to the community in regards to changes they hope to make in the future.

    Khora
    Passive : Dedicated companion
Khora has her own pet, Venari, summoned at the start of the mission, both have lifesteal link.If Venari dies, she gets sent back to the orbiter for a short duration for recovery. Venari will deal a burst of damage when she dies and when she returns based off Transmogrification's mode.

Whipclaw: Pressing this key will whip enemies in a line in front of Khora. Holding the key will cause her to swing the whip and hit enemies in a 360 area around her

Chain Primer: Bind an enemy in chains for a fixed duration and prime them. On death, reactivation or ability time-out, chains will explode dealing damage to the affected enemy and enemies around them, staggering them then rooting them  for the duration as the initial cast. Enemies hit by 2nd portion will not be primed, cannot be cast on the same enemy but can be cast on multiple different enemies, hitting with whiplash will also cause it to detonate prematurely, dealing damage more damage based on Transmogrification's damage mode.

Transmogrification : Change between 3 damage modes; Impact, puncture, slash
Impact : Khora and Venari gain bonus armor, Khora staggers enemies she sprints/rolls into, Venari's main form of attack is charging in a line into enemies, knocking them down with a chance of disarming them
Puncture : Khora's and Venari's attacks rends enemy defenses, reducing armor, removing shields and exposing flesh. Venari and Whipclaw will leave weak points on enemies, causing players to deal more damage when hitting weakspots.
Slash : Venari and Whipclaw will always apply slash procs on hit, reflects damage to attacking enemies.

Chain Damnation : Khora sends out a massive wave of chains around her, rooting all enemies hit within a radius around the burst, taking massive initial damage and getting an additional effect  based on Transmogrification's chosen mode
Puncture : Completely removes shields & armor and greatly weakens flesh, causing  enemies to generally take more damage from all sources and making them more susceptible to status effects

Slash : Enemies take damage over time, any enemies that make contact with snared  enemies have a chance to take slash damage
Impact : Allies within the area will gain a boost in armor, gaining the same staggering bonus as Khora for a duration

No specific stats or anything or proper names on abilities since it's just a rough idea on what I believe Khora could have been with the IPS mode maintained in her kit.

I'll leave this with a thank you to those that read this, and with hopes DE gets this and understands that they have potential to make things really interesting if they just reach out to the community more.

You know i always wondered where the product placement for leyou products were, what do they not have chicken in the future?

If you consider the mutated monstrosities we have today being placed on the butchering production lines as "chicken," then yes... there are no chickens in the future.  There are no chickens now, except what people are actually raising on the farms as pets, which is rare these days.

(please try not to vomit. lol)

What you said here just shows you know nothing about DE, their not Activision, their not EA they aren't a mobile developer, they don't try to underhandely  nickel and dime their player base.

    *slithers back under bridge*

Oh you are so correct.  They're not Activision, they're not EA, and they are not a mobile developer either, but....

    ...they are in fact PWE.

...in some odd and convoluted way.

So I've started to notice a certain animosity part of the community has towards Exalted Weapons and I'm genuinely curious as to why some people seem to despise the very idea of a new exalted weapon being added to the game.

There is this ancient stickler this community developed, which basically goes like this.  "Let's control the way other people play this game, so that i won't have to put up with it, because i don't agree with the idea that people do things in certain ways that i believe should not be."

"Exalted weapons cause players to make builds that only focus on that one (exalted weapon) ability and not anything else."

"Exalted weapons are always spammed for all the wrong reasons."

"Exalted weapons are too powerful and trivialize the game"

"They lock you out of the ability to move or the ability to use your primaries or secondaries."

"People just spam-attack everywhere and only attach the exalted weapon ability to a macro."

"They are stupid and need to be replaced with a better ability, because all people do is use exalted weapons only."

I can fish for more quotes that I have read or come up with ones similar to the ones i remember reading as of late.  They usually come from people that don't want other people to play a certain way.  What's really puzzling, is that these people that don't like exalted weapons tend to use them too.  I know this because of the complaints they make.  There are plenty of other warframes to use that don't have exalted weapons, and if they do not like exalted weapons, they would not have to use them, which in turn provides little to no reason to complain about these exalted weapons unless...

...they don't want other people to use them either.

(I'm sure i'm going to get a number of attacking notifications for this.)

Seriously? Please remember to be respectful on these forums! These forums are here for furthering the Warframe community! I'm all for hearing opposing opinions as long as it continues to help and build that report between Tenno and creative solutions to new problems!

If you have no interest in actually providing helpful feedback that adds something to the conversation and Warframe as a whole then you can kindly find another online forum to where others will show as much disrespect for you as you are currently displaying to your fellow Tenno here!

I'd to see you stay and actually contribute something here, but if you would like to continue being disrespectful than you can leave!

What are you trying to do, win a chance at becoming a moderator?  I'm not being disrespectful, and the fact that you interpreted it such says a lot about you.  If anyone had enough intelligence, they could read my comment and know exactly what I'm saying.  What i implied is my feedback.  Since you seem to be challenged in this area, i will break it  down for you.

If you have to make a forum thread that in a nutshell says "Hey i was/am [insert something narcissistic here], i deserve [insert selfish demand here]", then you have already declared yourself "special" and obviously have self-entitlement issues.  All i said was "explain this misguided sentiment" and then turned around and said "don't explain".  Why?  because i didn't want a response from a person like you, but i still got that.  Thus nothing you said to me in that response was helpful at all in your case, or in the case of giving "respectful feedback".  No one appreciates being spoken to the way you have to me.  I'm not in kindergarten and you are not my teacher.

For the sake of "feedback", i will respond to your other quote.

The OP brings up a good point. Please, take the time to read and comprehend what they actually said as opposed to jumping to conclusions They are asking for something to commemorate their involvement in the Beta now that the Vandal variants of the Lato and Braton are available to everyone.

The OP is not displaying a sense of entitlement because of these weapons are no longer Beta exclusives. They want others to have them! Maniac523 is simply saying that it would be nice to have another form of recognition for those Tenno involved in the Beta because it was a special time. Anyone who has stayed with DE some the Beta should be recognized and respected!

Any Tenno who has responded negatively to the OP stating that it is special for those who were involved in the Beta to still have some form of recognition should apologize to Maniac523 and should apologize to the Warframe community at large for making the rest of us look like idiots!

I'm of these kind of attitudes being present on this forum! I don't want it in a game I enjoy and I'm sure everyone else doesn't either!

Grow-up, admit you acted like jerks, and let's have a decent time discussing how we can make things better for everyone here. Otherwise get lost!

The thing everyone was provided during the time of the game's early existence was founder packs.  Everyone during that time had a chance to get those, and whatever special stigma came with that would have remained until this game's end.  Some people, like myself, existed back then, but i never bought it because i did not think Warframe was worth the investment.  I can't remember the exact pricing, but it was a lot of money.  Do i wish i bought the founder pack?  No.  However, you will never see me demanding or asking for DE to bring them back so i can buy one.  Doing so will insist that i am special despite the legal situation behind that Founder Pack offer.  It would also be disrespectful.

Lato and Braton Vandal were free.  Nothing special was done to get them.  No money was paid.  There was nothing sacrificed to get them.  It was DE being nice and friendly and even loving to the players by saying "hey, thanks for supporting us and keeping our lights on in the studio."  So now, what is it, five years later?  (I'm not keeping track.)  People discover that Lato and Braton Vandal existed, and some new players (or even old ones that somehow missed this opportunity), are saying "hey, a lot of old weapons that were fun are coming back, so why not bring back Lato and Braton Vandal?"  Others are saying "Hey, i missed getting the weapons that day, i would sure like to have them."  DE thought about it, did a poll, and over 80 percent of the community that took the poll said "yes, bring them back".  So they did.

Now.  Let's talk about your so-called "disrespect".  After all of this, DE decides to make everyone feel special with the same "hey thanks for supporting us and keeping our lights on".  Most of the community wants to be gifted and feel special too by such thanks, and then suddenly there's people like you and the original poster that says "hey I'm special because i was actually there during closed beta and the beginning of open beta, i actually got the weapons, and no one else i know did, so give me something else since i don't feel special anymore.  If everyone is special, i need to be even more special, because i was here first."  As if you suffered a loss or something.  The weapons were free.  They are still free.  You lost nothing. You did not have to work for them or pay for them.  You were given something out of good thanks and now you demand more just to feel better than everyone else.  Now look at this from DEs perspective and ask yourself, "How can they respect this?"  They can't and they won't.

In the odd chance they do give you what you demand, you will just turn around and demand something else, because you have clearly outlined that your attitude is "i must be better than others in some way or another, and i want to be reminded of that superiority, because i am special."  Misguided self-entitlement.

So thank you for helping get the answer to my original question.  This thread is not feedback at all.  It's a self-serving complaint.

And on top of that,i am told to "grow up," while in the same breath, i am told that if i don't team up with this childish sense of self-entitlement, that i should leave.

    ...wonderful.

  6. So basically every player that exists right now, or even ones that have existed since years ago -- all of which have supported this game and are the reason this game is still in business -- are all unimportant because the were not here (to get lato and braton vandal) when the game first launched?  Please explain to how your misguided sentiment makes sense here.

    Never mind.  Don't explain.

Cernos Prime and Ivara's Bow are completely different in power level and you know it. Infinite ammo, innately insane multishot (more than that of Cernos Prime) and her first abilities as an alt fire, are three examples of that. And yes, people spam other whips, but they won't be spamming a special whip on a brand new warframe, that would have been greatly augmented by powerstrength as well as basic melee mods. Why would DE see a problem like how whips are now, and decide: "Let's make a frame, but with a whip." It would have no doubt overshadowed the rest of Khora. Also Titania and Mesa do use Exalted Weapons; They equip a brand new set of weapons, unique entirely to them and they scale of warframe and weapon mods.

Just because there are other problems and metas in the game does not mean that DE should ignore that and add more to the problem.

And to be honest, yes, I'm not the biggest fan of exalted weapons. It just incentivizes people to make a stat stick and ignore the rest of their loadout and, most often, the rest of the warframe itself. At this point, unless done right, it just looks like a boring cop out for an ability, and until I see for myself what Khora's Strangledome can actually do in-game, I'll reserve judgement on it's usefulness.

Well said.  (Nothing but self-contradicting comments.) However, i think you completely misunderstood my comments and the points i made.

    oh well...

Would have been nice if you did understand what i meant, but misinterpretation seems to be a curse i often have to live with on this forum.

(In addition to this, you took someone else's quote and put my name on it, which totally misrepresents my logic and what it was i was trying to say.  You are actually arguing with someone else and not me.  You should probably correct this.  You should also probably reread my comments.)

Alright, enough. If someone else said what I'm about to say then sorry. Gotta admit, this statement triggered me and I gotta say something right now.

I'm absolutely tired of people using this tagline. "GAME IS CALLED WARFRAME NOT *insert the thing I don't like*!" It's like saying "This game is called final fantasy, not chocobos!" because you don't like them for some reason you terrible person. How can you not like chocobos!? Ahem, anyways...

Every (good) game is multi-faceted and has different options for the player to use. The operators are one such option, and 90% of the game doesn't use them at all. Other than The War Within which fully introduces us to the Operator and how they work (basically a tutorial hidden within a quest which was a smart move on DE's part), the vast majority of gameplay and quests - both optional and mandatory - are Warframe-focused.

Here's what we do as an Operator in this game.

    1. Take down eidolon shields (Warframes do the heaviest lifting)

    2. Kill vomvalysts (After warframes destroy their outer shell)

    3. Stun/disarm the Kuva guardians (so then warframes can kill them)

    4. Provide passive stats for - you guessed it - warframes.

    5. Have the potential to kill enemies and do general Warframe content (After weeks to months of grinding in the Plains to craft the best amp. You'll also need to switch to the Madurai school for optimum damage output, max that out, and even with ALL of that, your best bet is to just switch back to your warframe anyway for said content as warframes do it better, easier, and faster)

That's it. That's all they do. What do Warframes do?

    EVERY.THING.ELSE.

No matter what the Operator does, Warframes either do it better, or finish the job. The operator is nothing without their warframe in 100% of content, whereas the warframe is nothing without their operator in 10% of the content.

So stop with this stupid tagline. It's incorrect and will stay incorrect.

    Well said.

You are not invested in the lore.  You're invested, desperately, in the lore you made up before DE revealed more of their own.  You're invested in wish fulfillment and a rather embarrassing depth of escapism.

Daaayyaaam!  There's no combating that logic.

i've been keeping this secret for long time, and i decided to reveal this to you guys as proof that being a toxic player will make you no different than any other and instead makes you far worse than any other..

so, when i was MR6 (now 9, on the way to 10) i was asking in the public chat about drop location of a specific warframe, and i got good response of where it is, until there is this one player, whisper me.. telling me to open Warframe Wiki instead of Public chat asking.. not only that, he says "its annoying to see players like you asking about this and that in the public chat", really? a simple question like that is an annoyance? yes i do know warframe wiki, im always visit it everyday but that time i just want some simple answer without opening the wiki. but this one player just like salty, edgy player who doesn't want to see new player asking for direction.. so yeah i got some little debate with this player and mute that player immediately,

the drama doesn't end there.. i see in the public chat the same player trying to "Public Shaming" me, but he got warned by others that public shaming is not allowed in Warframe.
so yeah, because of this one player.. my faith about this game is lost and my schedule of playing this game 4 hours a day now reduced to 1 hour a day, and the epilogue of this drama is the next few days later i got some message from Warframe team that contain "Terms of Rules" or something, according to my friend, that is a warning message, meaning someone reported you for something bad..

welp, a single question.. looking for simple answer.. turn into a warning message from Warframe team by a single Toxic player who doesn't like new players asking for direction of "where to get this?" or "where to get that?" ... a solid proof that Mute button is better than your own keyboard..

until now, i still remember that drama and message.. still giving me bad vibe every time i play.. but fortunately im an easy-going type of player, im just enjoying the game as long as there is something to chase..

let me know in the comment down below, what is your moment in Warframe that giving you bad vibe or something? or anything you want to say?

To cover your tail, make screenshots of those conversations and prove to Support that you were innocent.

Are you kidding me? Who complains about asking a question in the chat that is literally used for asking questions and memes? I would love to see how this guy reacts when new content is out and everyone is spamming in the chat asking where it is or how to get it.

I have joined many online clans and guilds and such, and I have been harassed and blacklisted by members that did not appreciate my "asking questions".  People like that exist and there are lots of them.  Each one i encountered came off as if they knew everything about the game, but when i asked a simple question, they could not answer or refused to asnwer and angrily told me to "google" it up.  It happens, a lot.

Probably so they don't have to try to come up with a new stance and class for it. It's just the easiest thing to do. And also probably the worst way to do it.

Likely they just want to push it out as fast as possible, but I'd rather them take a few months to do it rather than jam it in without worrying about whether or not it's actually good.

    Hmmm.  Makes sense.
