Yeah. It would help if they made many more different parts. Maybe they didn't want to go that far, seeing how players take to it first

Anyway, Yeah i agree with the ideas.
I was under the impression from start that Zaws can be constructed and deconstructed. I was wrong.
Same should be for Amps.

And after PoE, I am highly skeptical about other "open world" zones (PoE is actually just big map, not real open world) and actually afraid of the more nonsense they might add to perpetuate grinding.I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just not going to bash the devs over this. I am disappointed myself. I'm just hoping they will make better changes or at least learn from all of this.

Yeah it seems to me that they did not put enough effort into the update. I'm not knocking the effort they put into it, but it could have been a much broader experience. A larger scope of rewards, items, weapons, etc. It already needs expansion.
Amps and Zaws should have been able to be broken into pieces so that the parts are interchangeable with making additional weapons,allowing for an arsenal of diversity here. I guess they would not be able to monetize the Zaws otherwise.
It would even be interesting if we could built a modular warframe, but i'm just dreaming at this point.
Hopefully there will be more open world zones with more to offer throughout the Origin System in the near future.

If memory serves, Rebecca mentioned in a devstream. The guys sipped that funny drink and laughed. Then one of them said "No" and leaned back as if staring off into The Void while mumbling a bunch of words we don't understand, and the only thing I got out of it was "too much work".
Suddenly we started getting "deluxe" skins.
What they did say they would do is make additional warframes that may have similar powers with opposite gender. For example, a male Ember would be a warframe called [insert fire theme name here] that has a completely different set of powers that sill involves fire, but this one would be a male. They said they did not wish to remake the same exact warframe just to make it a different gender, because that would be too much pointless or unnecessary work. They would much rather make new warframes.

Supposedly POE was centered around rewarding new players.
I don't really understand why. Both old and new players can be rewarded and satisfied if they did things on a broader scale.

Seeing how I'll never beable to get this weapon back i'd like to suggest the idea of making actually difficult to obtain weapons to have a warning for you not to sell them. Keep new players from ruining a good experience and reward, so they can never receive the pain and frustration i've felt every time I check my inbox.
It's a simple and common enough mistake. Many people have done something similar to this. I once heard a rumor about a founder that sold/deleted his Excalibur Prime, and there's no way to get that back after so long ago.
Don't fret. Being that it's an anniversary item, like many have said here already, you will get another one soon. (I don't remember when the anniversary is exactly.)
The warframe wiki is your best friend when in doubt. Always use it to check for info about anything. You can always ask people in the regional chat too.

I started using my pets today after more than a year of ignoring them. (stasis)
When I really needed their help, they did not deliver. I realized that if i want my pets to attack, i should pick a target and attack it, and then the pet will attack it.
Then I began to see what was wrong and what could be made right. Just like i painted my targets with a shot from my rifle, we should be able to mark targets and let the pets attack them. Also decide how the pets should attack them. Pets should be keen in how to approach the enemy or even to go where we want them to like real dogs. For example, If i want my Kubrow to go and stand guard somewhere, we should be able to do it. If I want it to go to a particular place, we should be able to do that. If I want it to go and open a locker, it would go and do that.
I doubt we can have something as clever as Mass Effect, but surely there could be some system of control for us over our pets. However... I fear that the game engine will not allow this, or the devs may come up with some half-way idea that will be disappointing.

What I don't understand is why they made Gara's 4th like this in the first place, especially since soon after release they plan to change it anyway.
Do they play test anything?
