  1. This weapon reminds me of stargate.  Still testing it.  So far, I have no strong opinions about it.

So far I'm loving it. I don't see what the fuss is about.  it's a close-quarters tactical weapon.  The accuracy is sweet.  I can do lots of things with this gun.  I never much cared for shooting at great distances anyway, especially since i'm a vanguard type of player in the missions.  I do mostly melee, so this gun works really well for my playstyle for close-quarters combat.  If i want to shoot form a distance, i just use my Lex/Aklex series secondary weapons.

  2. He has a point.  Devs/Warframe was never good and being informative about things in the past.  This is no different.

It's why a lot of new players get lost and quit the game.

If the event ended, I see no problem with the shop still being open.  It's not like anyone can cheat with the event being at an end.

hmmm well this is weird, because I (somehow miraculously) completed the riven challenge a few minutes ago - using the same method as above, and the cryopod had lost 50% of it's health by the end of the game, I was hiding behind a tall tower for the whole duration of the mission where no enemy can reach, consequently using my operator to make me invis just in case. Yet, I still manage to complete it even though the cryopod took huge amount of damage. Is this a bug?

was there a certain amount of time you were supposed to complete this task?

Almost every single mission, atleast 1 party member uses this, running entire missions using just C+SHIFT+E. (One thing i dont understand: Why people consider this as "fun", or "playing", when they are doing literally one same thing over and over)

What is Tenno laziness in the realm of Warframe?

If not whips, it's something else.  (Draco = Hydron)

As far as the rest of your post, let's just see what happens when Khora arrives.  Then discuss.  I don't think it will be as bad as you predict, but let's see.

What do you mean? You mean that tiny 'rework' she got years ago that nurfed her ult? or are you giving a roll of the eyes over the fact that I am bringing up what I feel is a problem with the frame, as a long time player of WarFrame in general? More information, please. :)

    Since you asked so kindly.

Trinity has been an ongoing problem for years.  She is constantly mentioned on the forums without end.  She completely trivializes the game in the hands of abusive players.  She is a total failure in the hands of inexperienced players.  Devs don't know what to do with her.  They keep changing this or that and she is still a problem.  Almost all of recruit chat spam is never without the mentioning of her name.  She's a curse and a blessing, no pun intended.

I did a facepalm.  Not rolling my eyes.   It's just easier to forget Trinity even exists.  Of course that will never happen.

  6. We all loved what Warframe "used to be", but there is no solution for this.  The game evolved and so did the players.  The golden age for Warframe is long over.

(Personally), with the gaming skills I developed while playing this game, if I were to travel back through time to nearing when the game launched, I would undoubtedly break this game into digestible pieces and send it Back Into the Future just to feed it to a Kubrow.  (I speak for all veterans on this.)  I would then get flagged as exploiting the game or reported to Support as a hacker, and I would probably be banned because I'm just to 'got gud' at playing Warframe.  Take into consideration that most veteran players have seen everything there is to see in this game, know every possible map and how to navigate expertly from one end to the other without fail.  I mean, It's insane.  Old Warframe could not handle it.  Servers couldn't handle it.  Devs would most certainty not be able to handle it.

And ah... so uh... umm... What was this thread about again?  I think I lost track of the point I was trying to make.  Never mind.   Just make a time-traveling warframe next.

Yes, but it switches to your other weapon. If you had your primary equipped before you got out your fishing spear/mining laser/whatever, when you swap back it will switch to your secondary.

    let me check real quick.

Yeah you are right.  All they have to do is make it default to what ever weapon you were holding previously.

So, this is a small QOL fix that I've been wishing for for a few years, now. Let's say I have my primary equipped, and I spot some ore. I switch to my mining laser, dig up the ore, and then hit the "switch weapon" button to re-equip my weapon. But instead of re-equipping my primary, it equips my secondary. Or vice versa if I had my secondary equipped.

I know I can open up the gearwheel again and de-equip the gear to immediately switch to the weapon I was using, but that's really time-consuming. I think the "switch weapon" button should just handle that.

I have my swap weapon button set for F.  All you have to do is use that button and it switches.  You don't need to go back to the wheel.

Thanks for the headsup, I didn't check the building requirements before.  Now I don't think I will farm Gara anymore, just tried a couple of times solo anyway, I will just wait for a discount to buy her in the far future if I feel like being a completist.

By the way, the only frame I bought outright is Nidus, gave him 6 formas, and he is one of the best to me.  Personally, I don't feel like missing out anything not to have Gara at this moment.  Even the Focus 2.0, don't think I am missing out too much not to unlock most of the nodes, I can choose to stop grinding even though they intend to make people to do so.

    Yeah, you comprehend.  No problem.

you're like the child, saying that their parents aren't having trouble in their marriage, sure mom has cheated on dad with all the other dads in town, but the marriage is as good as when it started.

look youve either never played other online games or never read forums before, people claim that the forums are full of ragers and complainers, and that the mayority of the people its in the game enjoying it, and while it might be partially true, i have seen game after game, where the forums are full of people complaining about important stuff like these forums right now, and then we have the bootlickers like you, insisting that the developers have no fault, that theyd never screw the game up, since its in their best interest, and here is where i ask you, have you got any idea how the world works? you think the chinesse overlord woke up today and said "man, i cant keep @(*()$ up that warframe game for my own benefit and gain, screwing up this indie company to make a few millions its not worth my time, ill stick with this game and make it the best game ever for xXDeadsinXx, the white knight"

there is antother face to the business  that you dont see, you think they wouldnt kill the game but you dont know the chinesse overlord agenta, which more ofthen than not its "F*** the game F*** balance, F*** the players, just make me some money and make it quick, even big companies as blizzard have had to bend their hands to their overlords, and you think DE will be anything diferent?

i know you might think DE will defend their game with their lives, but anyone who has a clue how chinesse companies run the games they invest on, has no doubt that PoE has spelled the beggining of the end for WF.

and btw, the chinesse had nothing to do with making the game, so if they want the game to crash and burn to get their investment back in a shorter time period they will do it. chinesse are perfectly fine ruining awesome games if it will bring them some quick profit.

    so take the blindfold boy.

note: btw what people are trying to get into your thick head its that bugs are not the problem, the problem is that any player with one year of experience in WF, would have made a more acurte priority list than DE, and its their @(*()$ game, had i been in the office the moment development began my question would have been "we will be able to extract individually right?" and you know why none asked themselves this question before? BECAUSE ITS A OBLIGATORY FEATURE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE SINCE THE BEGGINING BUGGY OR NOT, but no it wasnt a bugged feature, it was a feature DE was too ignorant (or too deep on fish) to grasp, no  player and no developer would have been as ignorant as DE to ignore all the basic stuff that the game is missing that most games have ready by prealpha.

this doesnt feel like a rushed update, it feels like they made a fishing mechanic, a big map, and then tried to confuse people to think taht there was actual content.

    This guy gets it.

That's because we were. This was a bait and switch. About every point of this was misrepresented and reduxed from what was shown and billed.

Sheer Plains size- Was later revealed to be far smaller than what was billed and advertised. Not exactly mad about that or anything, but still noteworthy.

Arcanes Rework- Not reworked at all really. Just a new set with next to no real use outside of plains as they're only operator oriented.

Focus Rework- "We made it a little more expensive."  By that I think they meant that they basically quadrupled the total costs and they basically threw a b**** fit and yanked anything that really contributed to general play. Instead, we have a grind wall of a broken mess that further breaks even the most basic parts of operator play by placing the basic stats behind what is effectively a glass window with bars over it with a plaque that says, "look but don't touch."

Twitch drops- Twitch drops have been buggy to say the least and the loot pool from it has been little more than its own bait and switch. Fireworks, Latron BP's, and maybe a couple other things have been pretty much it. So much for getting actual loot of any real value in the game.

Set mods- These turned out to be nothing short of a rare drop with understated results that didn't even meet what have long since been the most basic of mods for builds. The set bonuses are even a joke really as they don't even reward values and such that the mods they're based on exceed.

Gara- Oh Gara, the much advertised and hyped glass frame. She has been put on a further pedestal of pretty much pay-to-play/pay-to-win content. If you can manage to get into a non bugged bounty, you still have to fight horrible rng for her parts as they're more of a rare drop to begin with.

Bounties- While I'm hitting the subject of bugged bounties, let's really talk about them. Matchmaking is bugged all to beyond with people being put in the wrong bounties, being put into people's free roam sessions, and even being placed into players invite only sessions. Then we have the bounties themselves where they actually bug out and freeze a good 1/3 off the time or even freeze up before you can even get a starting mission objective.

Oh yes, the name of the game on this update has little more than been deception from the get go. This isn't content that has any basis for new players and has a very distinct aim to screw older players.

In a nutshell.  He totally gets it.

@VampirePirate To answer your question it was an honest mistake. I originally wrote about Loki  as a basis for people to understand what Switch teleport does and I then went onto explain about him in PvP, however I did mention that I won't be talking about PvP nor Loki because I personally don't play PvP and the majority of players only play PvE. So it will be unfair for me to critique something I have no idea about. Besides from reading the wikia, the animation lock/stun is significantly lower. I will edit it the post.

As for the trolling of Loki, this cant really be stopped unless you remove Switch teleport entirely, or you remove the player switching ability which would completely dissolve an interesting and tactical element of the ability. But this is a problem for a bigger topic, which really can't be stopped unless you remove abilities of Warframes that you considered "trolling" or completely rework abilities to the point they all become 1 dimensional and trolling becomes limited due to how simplistic the abilities are.

    Thanks
