If you've been through most of the content in game it's quite hard to suggest something you haven't done. But for myself recently what's been taking up most of my time is riven mods I love them so much just rerolling, doing raids/sorties and just helping friends and new players farm stuff. The only suggestions I have is don't invest time into finding bugs if you aren't enjoying it, warframe has a lot of bugs so it sometimes takes DE a very long time to patch bugs that aren't as urgent as others. It helps the community out but at the same time if it's ruining the fun you could be having just take a break and enjoy the game for what it is.

Since sorties are against high leveled enemies like the second mission is from lv65-80 and the last is 80-100. Iron skin will fall off around those levels and you'll constantly need need to recast it and like you said you won't have a chance to recover so it might be hard to use rhino.

If your damage is falling off in sorties you'll need to start maxing mods and get the mandatory mods like serration, split chamber heavy call (for most weapons heavy cal is good but some like the Javlok is complete garbage)also getting the elemental mods and building the right status combo against certain factions like today's sorties are against corpus so I like using toxin against them since it goes through shields.

If you have anymore questions/suggestions I"ll gladly answer them.

I like the advice you give and I will take it in consideration.  could you give me more build tips for these weapons:
Tonbo, Tonkor, Broken War, Azima, Soma, Synoid Simulor, Dread, Ignis, Supra and Synoid Helicor ?

With that much experience I am surprised you can't solo Jordan golem unless your archwing is completely neglected. Base odanata and velocitus eat him pretty quick.

I also wonder what weapons you bring to sorties that can't cut it. Can you give some examples?

Finally while I love Rhino unless he is a roar build I don't bring him on higher level missions. If I tank I use Inaros. A Rhino rework would be nice but his stomp augment is some nice love too.

I did not neglect archwing, my base archwing is rank 26 or so and my base archwing weapon is max ranked. Just cant beat Jordas.

The weapons I bring to sortie are most of the time Tonkor, Broken War, Azima, Soma, Synoid Simulor, Dread, Ignis, Supra and Synoid Helicor.

    Hi!

As title says, im looking for the fastest warframe and melee combo, I just started the game (roughly 10 hours) and Im overwhelmed with all the options. Im just looking for the fastest melee and warframe so i can set them as my goals and farm for them

Anything helps, and thank you for your time

PS whats the best thing to spend on with the 50 starting plat?

The best way to spend the plat is on warframe slots and weapons slots. They are limited and mostly one of the many walls that you may hit playing for free.

As for the warframe, use this link.

  4. I see a lot of people speaking about reactor and catylist as rewards. Personally I think those should be back on the Friday alerts only. Remove endo from the drop list of use it as an if not reward.

Credit should not be an reward as that should be normal in game things.

Personally before rivens I didn't care much about sorties so my vote in some parts should be counted out, as I will drop sorties whenever rivens get a better acquiring method. However, my interest in sorties will only be if:

    1. the reward is unique, worth while and not something that you hype today and give for free by the next month, I see what you are doing, every single time
    2. the reward should have significance impact on the game
    3. the reward is usable in many situations or specific ones but noticeble
    4. the reward should not be something that is awesome because of this update and worthless by the next
    5. the reward should be something on its self
    6. the reward is not a part of a huge puzzle that needs my resource to complete
    7. the reward as puzzle is attainable within the sortie season time span not by me waiting for it to ever comeback if you ever decide to do so
    8. the reward is trade able if I don't want or need it as well by players as in game system should match the weight of getting it (see rivens: useless rivens are useless)
    9. the road towards the reward is worth wile
    10. platt
    11. slots for weapons or frames
    12. the reward is a part of fashionfarme, not limited to one frame, is costumizeable and is not a tattoo / sygil
    13. you actually take our feedback in game instead or pulling our attention and do nothing
    14. the reward is a reward by my standards, not by what you say it is (this one is for myself but it has the most impact of all)

This list could be longer but you can PM if you are really interested

as long as the drop tables work as (currently) advertised, it's good. I just propose just one change: if you get any reward twice in a row, that reward will be removed from your drop table for the next two sorties you do, with the exception of riven mods. that will really drive up the drop chance.

your idea of sorites is not bad, infact it has been adviced as feedback on the day that sorties were introduced. I wonder why they haven't taken it in.

Seriously. Stop giving me lenses. I have absolutely no use for them at all. I've gotten 13 lenses from Sorties and 2 Riven mods since the sortie drop table changes. Clearly riven mods are not common. Stop lying to us. And stop giving me sortie rewards that do absolutely nothing for me. I can't do anything with these. I don't want the 2k Endo, but at least I could actually USE that if I got it. I literally cannot do anything with these stupid lenses.

better than piling on endo, which and other resource which could have been better if they were farmable.

I collect around 15 ~ 30k endo in a week while searching for rivens. Upon finding (3) rivens, they are the most common ones (thus useless) and not even for the weapons I own or am interested in.

I lost count of how many total endo I got from sorties ever since this release but I can say I got 3 rivens, 5 lenses and that's it. Just imagine I play sorties for at least 5 times a week since TWW to get one of the most common source of the game as reward.

Sortie rewards were the only thing that didn't really need messing with, but they ruined it anyway. A frame and a gun were worth chasing. They've basically removed those and left all the other crap behind.

The crowning glory? The Exilus adapter is now a blueprint which requires two formas and argon crystals. Hardly a reward.

Raid rewards. Now that's what needed changing. I just can't motivate myself to go through all that for a solitary arcane that I probably won't even use.

the concept you are talking about was great, until the said item becomes something of the player trading player market instead of getting it from the sorties and or the majority of players acquiring them. (both actually happened).

So they introduced seasons. But than another problem arrived, From what it seems, was that they couldn't keep producing items that were 1. different enough from the majority of items  2. worth while (less players eventually played sorties. Source: I didn't at all but judging from the clan request and world chat) 3. some thing that didn't change the course of the game because of the rewards, 4. end content or the sense of ... 5. rotations of seasons

  7. I have hit a point in warframe where I am stuck and frankly bored.

Not only does it feels like I have nothing do within the game, I also have a hard time during sorties because of something else.

    TLDR;

    Spoiler

Warframe is the only game I kinda play because of the amount of time I have and the fact that Never WInter won't install on windows 10.
But besides that, lately I have reached the point in warframe where I don't enjoy the game as I used to. Mainly because I am through most of the game content.
I have cleared around 80% of the chart. Have done almost all quest besides The Limbo theorem: the second archwing interception (I dislike this game mode the most) and The Jordas Golem, can't defeat the final boss yet. But besides that, there is not much else to do, except for waiting for new content, exchanging my old weapons for potential better ones (including the farming, building and leveling) and forma weapons (it is something I am doing now because of this millage I hit). Recently I only login for a chance to get a riven mod that is not generic or for a weapon that I actually have. besides that it is back to forma but that's it for a few mins to 2 hours,

I also invested sometime playing to find bugs. But they have not been addressed .. ever so I stopped doing that.

Some background story, even though my current account says that I joined this game in 2014 I have been playing with another account eversince the first beta test somewhere in 2012-2013 ish. I made this account after having several K's of dying and taking a huge pause from the game. But ever since this account I have been playing almost every day, having 20K+ hours invested in this game.

    Spoiler

Another point I hit was during sorties and some missions my damage fall quickly, to the point that I am putting my whole ammo clip in some enemy for them to blow my away like I'm nothing. They even break through my rhino shield with in milliseconds, with me not having a chance to recover or even cast another shield. But what bothers me the most is that my weapons are ineffective against enemies. I have a collection of OP weapons in possession, only missing some of the rarest, like the prisma family, super forma weapons and rare prime weapons. Maybe Im missing mods :(

I don't know what to do at this point with this game anymore, and that's why I turn towards the community.

2º I have a problem with my centinels weapons, aometimes says me: you have the same mod in X weapon and cant put in on your primary/secondary/melee weapon,i go to take the other copy i have and say the same,i must go out, desequip the centinel weapon and put the mod, later equip the centinel weapon again and leave the game resolve automatically. Its so horrible and a waste of time. Please put a simbol in a corner of the mods have the centinels weapons equiped and we not have that trouble.

This is also a problem when you have multiple copies of the same level mod and you use them across multiple weapons. When upgrading on, it will say mod has exceed cost of all the equipped weapons, eventhough I have multiples. For this reason I have several copies of mods of max level.

I personally don't think they should remove forma. I suggest that they should change the multiple rewards within a team. It should be that within a team none of the players will get the same reward, so that you always see 4 different rewards each time to choose from. Otherwise you can better play on your own with those odds.

(This Dev Workshop builds on the information discussed in our previous Riven workshops. You can read them here: Part 1 & Part 2)

    Additional Riven Slots:

The option to purchase additional Riven Slots was added in Update 19.3.2 for those players who wish to go beyond the initial 15 capacity. For many players, reaching that capacity is still a long-term goal, as they gradually acquire more through Sorties and trading. However, some players who have fully embraced the Riven life and are already looking for ways to increase their collection. For that reason, we’ve included the option to buy a bundle of three additional slots for 60 Platinum.

So why limit initial capacity to 15 and why sell a bundle for more? In our first Riven workshop we stated that the maximum is a reflection of our desire to encourage creativity and choice. We want each Riven in your collection to be carefully considered. Should you keep it, dissolve it, or trade it? Maybe you choose to focus on Rivens for more powerful weapons, or since those are already capable, maybe you’re a curator of the more obscure weapon Rivens.

The point in limiting capacity is meaningful selection rather than a ubiquitous collection. But, like in many other parts of Warframe, we want to give players the option to expand on the systems that appeal to them. With that in mind, we included the option to increase capacity at a cost that reflects the initial goal of meaningful Riven choice and reflects the value of Rivens in the overall economy. If someone chooses to purchase additional slots, they are investing in the Riven system and in Warframe as a whole.

We still require a hard cap of 60 slots because Riven Mods are so big compared to any other  item data, which all gets pulled in when Warframe queries a player’s inventory. If this technical limitation can be overcome, we’ll post updated information. Additional comments on Riven capacity can be found in our Road to 15/15 workshop.

It’s worth reiterating what was said in our first Riven workshop, “As Developers, we want to emphasize: nothing is set in stone. Warframe is known to be always changing and adapting. Remember that groups work best together when respect is shown, so while we can and do look past a lot of vitriol to find what you think, it's better that you express your thought without it.

With that in mind, let’s move on to some exciting plans for Update 19.5!

Secondary & (potentially) Shotgun Riven Plans:

As you may have already heard, we plan to include Secondary Rivens with our 19.5 update but if possible, we’ll also include Shotgun Rivens! Our current plan is to include these new Mods in the Sortie reward pool so that if you receive a Riven reward, it has a chance of being either a Rifle, Shotgun, or Secondary Riven. The exact chance for each is still being worked on. We do not plan to change the chance to receive a Riven Mod as a Sortie reward at this time.

    Kuva Cycling Cost cap:

After reviewing the impact of the Kuva Cycling cost changes (which can be be found here), we're planning to include a maximum Cycle cost cap of 3500 Kuva. So once a Cycle reaches 3500, subsequent Cycles will also be 3500 instead of increasing further. This change will come in a future update and will apply to existing Rivens that are already above the cap. If you spend more than 3500 on a Riven, it will be brought back down to 3500 for subsequent Cycles. However, Kuva will not be refunded retroactively if you spend more, so please keep this in mind.

We’ll be watching and reviewing the impact of the new Mods as they propagate through the playerbase, so we look forward to seeing what kind of interesting combinations arise. As always, we’ll make changes as necessary. We appreciate your feedback and understanding as we gradually expand the Riven system. If plans change, we’ll update this workshop.

    Thanks for reading!

Dear Drew I quote this to get your attention.

Even though warframe seems like to have a community that working behind and beyond DE, I never see it back in the game it self as an constructive thing unless it's annoyance or some that needs to be fixed which you haven't seen yet. I know I'n not in the position to talk like this but seeing all the RNG systems and other sets of balances trough the game I get the feeling this is something that is being neglected.

    After weeks of spending time trying to aquire rivens and seeing the changes I can conclude this;

Rivens seems like a bandage for the scaling system. I say this because of the changes and the way you have dealt in the past with somethings.

    • The first thing being the rivens on weapons that are already OP. Normally some kind of nerf would have appeared for the said weapon or riven, but instead you modded the chance of acquiring them for OP weapon.
    • The second thing is that the level of enemies started to rise again, which has not occurred in months. My first time noticing this was when TWW was released, the quest enemies for my first game through was around level 50 ~ 80, around the 3rd hotfix it dropped. But the sorties enemies and alert enemies started to rise from an avarage of 35 to 55 for alerts and 70 for sorties.
    • The third thing is not adressing any better solution for this.
    • My final reason is all the talk about rivens when there seems to be not much about them, not enough to hype them, though

    • Maybe you should change the way of inquiring rivens first because at this point it doesn't encourage creativity and choice. In fact they are so rare to get, and even more rare to get them for a weapon that you have and on top of that even more rare for the weapon that you actually want, may it be OP or not.
    • The second thing with rivens are most of them aren't that special. As stated in reason 1 and something that I know that you also know based on the rotations of rivens, look at the numbers you have given them to appear.
    • The third thing with riven is that unless you roll for a specific stat, it is useless. Let's say I have the same riven for both empty weapons:
      • My riven stats it increases crit by 100%, multiplier by 4, status by 10% and slash + 200
        • op weapon
          • 25% crit
          • 2.1 x multiplier
          • status 12%
          • slash 225
          • impact 10
          • puncture 12

        • some weapon that is collecting dust
          • 12% crit
          • 2.5 multiplier
          • status 25%
          • slash 10
          • impact 55
          • puncture 35

by this comparison you can see wich weapon I will choose even though those rivens are the same.
And also there is an unwritten rule in warframe that stats below 50% can be neglected, because RNG

    • The fourth reason: The only good part of rivens is that it takes less space for a combination if you are blessed enough.

    • Fixed incorrect/no reward if a fissure expires before the player rejoins from a crash or disconnect
    • Fixed Void Relic still displaying in inventory after cancelling a Fissure Mission
    • Fixed issue when trading Platinum and sculptures together
    • Fixed a bug with Martial Fury that made Power Rate a negative value
    • Fixed codex entries where it would assume an enemy could spawn in a region too high level for it.
    • Fixed Mirage’s Sleight of Hand traps going away when she dies in Conclave.
    • Fixed players sometimes getting Prime they rolled instead of Prime they chose when cracking Relics in endless Defense.

    Spoiler Fixes :

      Reveal hidden contents

    Changes:

    • Changed the Kuva Siphon progress elements in hud (Progress circle is now for number of braids destroyed, and “harvested” is moved to a list underneath the circle)

    Fixes:

    • Fixed Riven Cycle increasing reroll count by two when selecting the original Riven. We’ve also improved how Cycles are tracked with the hopes of adding more functionality at a later time.
    • Fixed potential script error in Teshin mission when players join/leave.
    • Fixed FoV resetting after Transference

Pls introduce a way for players to invidually exit relic missions after Prime rolles.

  12. Dear DE pls do not initiate more rebuilds where the skills to activate cost a huge amount of energy + energy per tick to mantain it. Most of the time it is not even necesarry considering the skills. Why though? And the way this game is setup, it is more a stab in the back from a blood trusted allie than an help in any way.

Exactly.  DE has a nasty habit of just making things worse when they get involved, because of people like the person who you responded to complaining about how things need a nerf, whereas the people who are just fine with how things are don't hit the forums because they're just fine with how things are, then get blindsided by nerfs, like how they nerfed Mirage, Trinity, Volt, and Mag all at the same time a few months ago.

The first bullet point sounds like what happened to Valkyr and Ash.  The second sounds like what happened with nitain.  The third sounds like the entire game.  The fourth, I don't really get what you're saying.  The fifth seems like it curtails nicely with your last point, of having to build for one specific build of something that is then removed from the game.  I can't tell you how annoying it is to have to forma OUT a polarity, or to forma a formad slot.  Yeah, Warframe is a mess right now, and the devs aren't really helping on the subject.

Have you ever noted that you can't make crit build for most of the weapons besides the one that are OP in the first place or have base damages that even the crit dmg muliplier can't do anything? refrence to my 4th point

As i mentioned in another post from my point of view it would be rather useful to set "Cooldowns" for certain skills that are currently OP, than reducing there effectiveness.

In the End those Ultimates are their "Ultimates" they should do something awesome, just not being every second available. Thereby it would be easy to look at the current Metabuilds of the warframes and accelerate cds on those skills... wouldn't it? :o

I do agree with you that ultimates should be ultimates, but I rather don't want DE to setup countdowns.
Especially with their way of rework "fixing / balance" is :

    • more energy use per action -> energy per tick per action within the same skill + the initail energy use to activate the skill
    • reducing of certain resources as whole but increasing the use thus forcing more farming
    • RNG systems on RNG system on RNG systems
    • % of whatever + max of 20% increase of percentage of whatever with a decrease somewhere else that isn't equally as good
    • introducing awesome things then completely remove them or change them in a way that it becomes useless, but you have invested something thus it is meaningfull to you in a sense of having value but unusable in any other way
    • Decreasing something with out an equal increase else where
    • Reworking frames, one by one while introducing new frames and mechanics without taking those in mind = broken frames forever
    • mandatory mods and forma's for something to be usable
    • NERFS
    • change something because it is populair
    • and this list could go on and on
    • you add a new item to the sortie list, increase the drop for endo (one of the most useless rewards IMHO), and drops the biggest endo reward (5k to 4k)
    • you add a new target system for Ash which is nice, than you add another system (energy per target per second) - I can see Ash being trash like Mirage, same thing you did there.

    • a way to skip sortie missions. I don't like the interception nor Excavation, but interception more. And some sorties has them all, Is there a way to introduce a system that allows you to skip missions within the sortie but get awards from a lower tier with every mission you skip?
    • A mod or something to guarantee that you have a riven mod for a certain rifle, but with a few rules like: weapon has to be over level 30, the slot + wanted polarity has to be free, only one riven mod of weapon can be held in possession, the riven mod acquired this way have less max chances of rolls.
    • Add a system next to sorties that sortie player can't get more than one of the same rewards with a week, and if the person has received all the rewards once, they then can receive all like how it now is. but it gives people a better chance

    • a few peoples suggested this already but I really like it and it has been almost 3 years since this idea was introduced. Why don't we have mods that has to be ranked fully to rank up and down for the weapons need.
    • ON Lua when you summon the operator/ Tenno, he falls @50% chance per game through the floor and keeps falling until he is deactivated and a warframe skill that moves the warframe is activated.
    • Random Frame rate drops since bug fix 1.1

We tried dieing, running away, shooting from belove and above. His only vulnerable spot on the back simply refused to work.

Also happened when me and a team mate played, first we killed Vor then we got disconnected, only Krill wasn't immortal but the game did not recognize his dead. Not in my game or his. I spoke with him after I aborted the mission.

Still no fix for the bug where people are getting formas from sorties

still no real fix for getting multiple endo's after secutive completion of sorties

Removes 3 DAY BOOSTERS which is rather useful rather than fixing it.
Keeping the FORMA and 3x NITAIN EXTRACT which no one asked and have very little use than the rest.
Changed Exilus Adapter from previous Sortie Drop Table into EXILUS ADAPTER BLUEPRINT.

How long will DE ruins sorties i wonder.

Till it really has no longer use to think about end game content in warframe or that we no long speak about whatever and just accept and be on our way to where ever destiny may bring us

  17. Is there anything else as sorty reward than endo? Before I rarely did any sorty missions because it was something that did not match my playstyle and also something that I find very ironic because it represented the things in game that you are fighting against. Like god like enemies, thus the god like need to conquer. Super long missions but you are against endless.

So ever since the introduction of riven mods, I wanted to explore more of this idea, to be able to give better feedback and get my current gear a good upgrade. So I did the sorties. Since the drop of TWW I got mostly endo rewards, up to almost 20k ... Why? I know that RNG hates my &#!, but really?

Another point that I want to mention is the game host. Why does the person with the worst ping gets to host the game even if he is the one who assembled the party. It's not like the game host can do anything special or even has any privilages. ... It should be the one has the best average ping towards the whole party and server. This rule should be appllied to the start of the game, when ever a new player joins the squad or when any player has over 200 ms of ping at any given time. Why 200 ms? Because the game will still be playable.

    • Enemies will do normal damage, behave normal
    • my dmg towards enemies will also be applied as normal
    • buffs and de buffs from the enemies, myself and my party will be apllied as normal
    • the game mechanics like alarms, traps, doors, movements and other time based events will still happen on time
    • Nobody will be kicked or complain.or even treaten to report because of bad game
    • Less connection errors
    • No more unable to connect to the host.

Because now 3/4 will have a bad ping or even unable to play the game. The server will try to connect all and eventually kick every one or stating that game doesn't excist, eventhough you could be left alone in an instance, instead of having to do it all over again

I know, I know, when I give feedback they are mostly complaints. But I also give most of the time solutions towards the problem if I see any

I don't think it's that complicated, honestly. The timeline between the Old War and the lifespan of Alad V would be too much for the original Valkyr Prime to have been the one that became the subject of his experiments. The simplest explanation is that current Valkyrs changed their appearance to pay homage to the dissected one, and that the one dissected by Alad V was a captured mass-production model Valkyr.

This is where warframe gets a bit tricky in practice. At what point are warframe massproduced and how many warframes can one child (Tenno) handle. This whole story and gameplay is pile of half stories compiled on eachother. From the ingame perspective you are this special Tenno and what not.
