  1. You've brought a number of ideas I hadn't even thought of before reading this. Reap and Sow having a combined functionality making use of the Tap/Hold config would drastically improve his quality of life. This once again ties back the the fact that Sow cannot properly function as a standalone skill; So merging them in one would alleviate this issue. The second ability could strengthen the synergy between his regular and exalted form. For example, " You relinquish yourself to the void and become somewhat incorporeal. You gain movement speed (around 20% potentially) and slight dodge chance (maybe like 10%).....If this ability is active when you cast exalted shadow, the effects are doubled and the timer is refreshed." ----this promotes jumping between both frames to maximize efficiency----- As for your Consume rework, the idea is that embrace is suppose to bridge together distant enemies with Shadow's melee range, however I like the thought process. It would be nice to see Shadow with an alternate, viable damage source besides his claws. I agree that Death's Harvest should differ from the vulnerability provided from Reap. While reading over your suggestion I came up with an ability that could tie into his theme as a specter of death wielding void condensed claws. What if Deaths Harvest instead operated as a self-applying buff allowing his ghostly claws to bypass armor and shields. On the other hand, considering shadow claws scale with combo counter (only heavies), the rework could be utility based and offer a way to drastically increase our combo counter for heavy attacks. I don't believe giving Exalted Shadow the opportunity to use Helminth would be too imbalanced. Any self buffs applied to the shadow would not carry over to Sevagoth, so I don't see the harm in it having the increased usability as you said. To prevent the loophole of having two helminths, they could make the number of subsumed abilities between his two forms a capacity of one. This means if Shadow has a subsumed ability, then Sevagoth could not. Shadow is supposed to be the first Exalted "warframe", yet it has numerous restrictions that make it feel more along the lines of an exalted weapon with extra ribbon features. All in all, I have little faith in him getting an overhaul/rework any time soon if at all. If nothing else, I'd like to see simple alterations to improve his usability and effectiveness. However, I will admit though.....I'm constantly daydreaming about reworks to his kit that will potentially never come.
  2. Agreed, I truly believe he's a strong frame. however, Sevagoth is devoid of some much needed quality of life changes that would go a long way. I'd even go as far as to say if certain aspects of him were tweaked and troubleshooted, he wouldn't need anything grand on the level of a rework. I just don't currently feel the investment in him yields a 1:1 ratio in the performance. I find myself utilizing more resources to produce weaker results compared to other nuke caster frames. All in all, I'd love to see his second radial explosion scale with strength and range. That alone would be a game changer and I forgot to mention it. Thanks
  3. I'm not going to pretend I can write as fluently, or weave together a nearly perfect composition of my thoughts and feelings like my Tenno counterparts. I love Sevagoth. He's lacking in some Areas. MORE in others. I'd like to see some changes; it's as simple as that. I'll try to keep things concise so please allow me to take some of your time. Whisper In the Walls: Hotfix #9 THANK YOU FOR FIXING THE REAP/SOW COMBINATION NOT TRIGGERING ITS SECOND RADIAL DETONATION! SERIOUSLY THANK YOU, YOUR THE BEST... I waited awhile for that one. I feel like I need to rejoice anytime Sevagoth so much as gets looked at to promote continued support for his kit. So again, I really appreciate it DE, thank you Rapid Fire Concerns, Comments, and Suggestions (I'd like to note that I've read hours of Sevagoth forums in order to gather a bigger picture of the state he's in. If anything here looks familiar to an idea you wrote, then i probably received inspiration from you so thank you for your efforts) without further ado.... Passive/ Death Well Passive is either rarely used (for returning back to life if you don't die in the first place) or results in failure due to the clunkiness of reaping souls Give an alternate method to returning to life such as melee kills or enhancing consume for more reliability Additionally, Allow the option to use Last Gasp over his final stand Should have a moderate bonus to the bleed out duration 75% threshold is too restrictive just to utilize shadow considering there's already a timer of usage Death Well having no properties beside gating you from Shadow is quite bland How about buffing the shadow depending on % of fullness.... More Damage, further range, more Movement speed etc. Reap Implement Toggle in settings to use fast flight of Ghost on toggle instead of hold No one likes a slow ghost, MOAR speed pls Allow debuff timer to be refreshed on target if reapplied while timer is still active Sow Virtually unusable by itself unless combatants are level 7 For a skill that only functions as a primer 50 energy is too much of an asking price Either please give it additionally functionality that cements itself as a standalone skill or lower energy requirement on use (and maybe even more if enemy is affected by gloom) Allow Sow to be re-casted...please, i beg you. I will give you my lunch money Gloom yeah lol, the only mistake gloom ever made was being a helminth ability. Augment Shadow Haze Allow the crit chance bonus to affect AOE Fix some visually errors of the debuff appearing on the enemy but in actuality not taking affect PLEASE LET THE SHADOW CLAWS GET THE CRIT CHANCE FROM THE AUGMENT Shadow's Death Harvest Skill can trigger the extra ghost but its claws do not benefit from the additionally flat critical chance. Considering the majority of the community disregards his exalted form, this would have been a good opportunity to bring Sevagoth's four....out of the shadows.... (get it?) If you only decide to do one thing, for the health of this frame please allow the augment to FULLY synergize with his exalted form. Exalted Shadow Tenacious Bond final critical multiplier does not apply to claws If it applies to all weapons then why not the exalted claws secondary dexterity provides extra combo duration to melee weapons, but this does not apply to the shadows Embrace does not properly pull in sentients and mumur (still even after the fix) Embrace causes doors to close ultimately blocking the enemies from passing through them consume is flawed on such a fundamental level I've yet to see an individual that enjoys using this skill maybe increase the radius of the hit box to increase the likelihood of contact maybe allow the skill to hit more than one target maybe give it a stronger form of CC than the second of confusion it inflicts on enemies Give us a method to cancel our momentum in the middle of consume Possibly give some other benefit other than health when successfully consuming a target (like a few seconds of invincibility frames) Death's Harvest is Redundant considering it the same damage vulnerability and scaling as Sevagoth's Reap (But is circular and timer can be reapplied) It would be nice to see this skill have an additional perk or altered more impactfully to add more individuality to Shadow as the first exalted Warframe. If you made it this far thanks. I'm just a Sevagoth fanboy that hopes to see him reach his full potential, and maybe gain some recognition.
  4. I've been using Sevy for the last two years. He is undoubtedly my main, and 19 forma later it has been a long but fun, as well as fulfilling Journey. However, it was so frustrating to see his full potential squandered by a plethora of poor ability design choices that blatantly lowered his overall consistency/potency as a frame. To see my all my joys, wishes, and issues centered around Sevagoth beautifully written and summarized before my eyes only adds fuel to the fire. It's so refreshing to visually see that I am not alone in regards to wanting a slight push to Sevagoth's performance. If DE would implement half of your changes, Sevy would be in dramatically better shape. I hope they see this post and act accordingly. On behalf of all the bright eyed Sevagoth mains, please DE.
