  1. Alchemy is a good example of a game mode where your team mates can unintentionally grief you - none of the other mission types in the circuit work that way, even Survival since the maps are so small that your team mates can't mess it up by running all over the place. Alchemy is just poorly designed for that reason - your team mates can absolutely ruin it for you. I truly hope it does not get into the circuit, that would really suck. The Circuit is one of my favorite game modes, actually, and I enjoy doing it weekly but this would really make it a lot less fun. Alchemy seems far worse than Armageddon tbh. Armageddon suffers from some pretty silly mistakes, like a massive map, non-scaling turrets, and generally just mechanics that don't work. If you cut the map down to 1/3rd of the size, gave better turrets, let turrets scale up somehow, etc, it could be a really good mode. It isn't fundamentally broken. Alchemy is fundamentally broken. 1. Team mates can 'waste' the amphors by throwing them and missing 2. Team mates can shoot the vents at the wrong time, it's actually very hard to do this right even if your team doesn't suck just because coordination in Warframe is impossible (for the best, frankly) 3. It's tedious and extremely slow I get that some people apparently like it, I can't really empathize with that but okay I guess there are people out there who enjoy it. But it is *bad gameplay* when your team can unintentionally grief you, especially when they can do it in so many ways.
  2. TBH just remove disposition entirely. Rivens are a mad mechanism for taking bad weapons and making them good, just let them be what they are - an RNG based mod. If we want to fix crappy weapons, given them Incarnon forms. Incarnon solves this by gating the Riven behind gameplay, adding interesting and unique mechanics, increasing stats in a directed way, etc.
  3. It would be nice to see Magnetic get a little bit more of a buff. Right now it's useless against 2/3 factions in the game and very arguably useless against Corpus too (because Toxin bypasses shields). Give it *something* more than just impact on shields/ nullifier bubbles. The proposed changes won't make magnetic useful as far as I can tell. Maybe something like: enemies with magnetic procs get pulled together. Increased procs will add increased strength an AoE, with 10 procs creating a magnetic pull. Enemies with shields could be immune to this effect but once the shields are gone the effect takes place. I think it's important to remember that Magnetic is competing against Corrosive and Viral since it's got underlying electric and Cold, so it had better be *actually* good if the goal is for anyone to use it.
  4. The casting speed on Avalanche is so incredibly long, but what's really insane is that it can't be made faster. Seemingly the animation is split into two phases and the second phase is not impacted by casting speed, meaning that even if you somehow completely eliminated the first phase you'd only achieve a 50% speed up. This makes one of Frost's main moves for surviving extremely risky to cast in many situations because the time it takes to cast, even with 2 Tauforged Archon shards and Madurai speed boost is more time than it takes for OG and shields to break and for you to die, it cuts it extremely close. It's a powerful move so I could understand why there's a limit on casting speed... I guess? Not really, but whatever, maybe that's the reasoning. In that case, just add iframes to it. Dante's 2 has iframes and the QoL from that alone is massive. At least give the second animation phase of the cast iframes. At the moment I'm forced to stay in a Frost Bubble to survive while casting 4, which is already tricky since Overguard enemies just walk through it (and acolytes and Necramechs...), but mostly it just feels really limiting. Dying because of casting speed is one of the most frustrating things and the gameplay workaround for it just makes things much less enjoyable. I just don't see why the casting speed needs to be capped. I'm willing to put multiple Archon shards and a mod slot towards fixing this problem but there's literally no option other than playing very conservatively and trying to stay in the bubble. If I could wave a wand and change it however I wanted to, 1. iframes from at least the start of the second half of the animation, lasting 250-500ms after the animation completes 2. Uncapped casting speed for both halves of the animation If I could only choose one of those I suppose it would be (1), although I don't see why it can't be both. Dante's 2 does this *and* adds way more Overguard *and* it doesn't rely on hitting enemies *and* it adds OG Regen on kill/ assist *and* it has uncapped cast speed *and* you can literally do 224 on Dante in the time it takes to cast Frost's 4 *once*. P.S. This mod should just be how the ability works but that's not nearly as important to me as just getting this fixed.
  5. I posted this in the wrong section. And now I don't see a way to delete it...
  6. Just want to throw another "Gas definitely needs a buff" into the ring. Right now people use Gas fairly reluctantly, and it's not the visuals that are the issue. Gas could use a range buf and a duration buff in order to stay true to its initial goals, and it should take weapon mods into account as well for DPS. Right now ti sort of fails in a lot of ways, including in terms of its core gameplay mechanics (lasting AoE - short range, low duration means it's not doing what it's supposed to do). I'm extremely hopeful for cold getting buffed.
  7. That would be a bigger change though. Like, maybe people are using this to get Viral and save a weapon mod slot. What I'm asking for wouldn't break anything, it would just be an option to not mess with other players. Like, I can basically grief people by running these augments and ruining whatever their status setup is.
  8. I run survivals solo because otherwise I'm chasing after 3 people running in completely different directions and spreading the loot out. Happens almost every time so I've just stopped. Game mechanics that allow teammates to grief you, especially that incentivizes them to do so unintentionally, need to be fixed.
  9. I really want to run Freeze Force on my Frost but: a) It destroys my companion, which is running heat and relies on heat. b) It will destroy my teammates' weighting at best, or completely mess up their statuses at worst No one is happy to get Freeze Force shared with them. And this goes for so many different mods. Unless the damage type doesn't act like a mod, mixing with others, it shouldn't be shared at all or we should at least be able to disable sharing.
  10. > Currently she can annihilate enemies across a map which denies engagement to other players and allows the player themselves to be largely hands off in terms of their own engagement. This sucks. The game should be played actively. I just don't see this as a major problem for two reasons: 1. People don't like to play that way. The vast majority of players are running a weapons platform Saryn even though it's less efficient than a spores Saryn, and for one reason - it's vastly more fun and engaging. The majority of players do not actually want to play AFK. This is shown to be true over and over and over again across frames and "meta" playstyles. People do those sorts of builds as memes, very few play that way. I've personally never run into a Saryn that plays like that, they're all weapon platforms in my experience. 2. Playing Saryn through spores nuking isn't actually AFK if you want to pick up loot, and you do. She can spread spores so far and kill so far away in many directions that you're actually playing less efficiently because you have to run around collecting loot. Far better to have enemies come to *you* and bring the loot to where you're staying, or to run in a set pattern rather than all over the map. Basically, I just reject that this is a problem outright. And if it's not a problem it doesn't need to be solved.
  11. I think this will be a nice buff to frost. I've already started working on some weapons builds to leverage cold procs. I think that it's unlikely that Frost will need to be changed at all if Avalanche guarantees freeze anyways. Whether you freeze at 10+ won't matter if you can freeze with one of his most spammed AoE abilities. Increased freezing from Freeze Force or abilities will be a bonus, as will any increased crit multipliers. By far, more than anything, what Frost needs is iframes during his 4 cast, like Dante has iframes for his 2. Without that the frame is always going to be very limited, I think. It's insane how limiting this is right now, I have to burn 2 tauforged amber shards just to make it bearable, and it's still many times slower than it should be.
  12. Every time I run a non-solo mission I get to the mission results and it says "Updating Account Information, Please Wait" and never actually updates my account. I have not been able to earn any rewards or affinity for about 5 hours now. I did manage to get it to finally update during a Sanctuary Onslaught because I was the host and I didn't disconnect, but it had to retry for quite a while before it worked, maybe a full minute or so. Apparently this locked the entire squad from doing anything while I was waiting for it to update. I have: 1. Restarted my PS5 2. Restarted my router 3. Checked that PSN is not down 4. Done a speedtest on my network 5. Changed the ports in the network settings multiple times 6. Used the Warframe network test 7. Factory reset my PS5, reinstalling the entire game from scratch. 8. Reset all settings in the options to the default I have called my ISP and verified that I am not being throttled at all, that my network is running fine. I had them go through every single device and tell me that there was no throttling and to test the connections, and to verify that ports in the 3000s and 4000s were not being throttled. I have a gigabit connection and have not had any trouble playing other games on my ps5. No other games are having connectivity problems. I have also noticed that I've started to get "Creating Session, Please Wait..." a lot more, lasting multiple seconds, sometimes about 10 seconds. Every time I go to the star chart, it's extremely slow to create a session. If I leave the star chart it says "Deleting Session, please wait..." and this can take another 10 seconds. I've noticed that, in general, for the last week or so I have been having much slower load times and experiencing more lag. I've filed a support ticket but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced these sorts of issues lately and if anyone has managed to find a solution.
  13. Has to be a bug, right? I mean, this is such a massive change, especially compared to the Nourish change that got announced. Hopefully it's fixed in the patch, this completely breaks a number of Saryn builds.
