Exciting!
Can't wait for hubs to become a thing

Heh, loud gas.

I'd rather dark sectors not award credits or resources at all. I only ever use it for XP. Could be a good tradeoff for dark sectors: more xp at the expense of no credit/resource reward. Would incentivise people to stay longer than 5 waves/minutes because they've never heard of the void. Would also eliminate taxes altogether and along with them all the grief over alliances that run monopolies over dark sectors. Alliances would then only want to capture DS nodes for bragging rights, etc. and it wouldn't affect gameplay on those nodes at all.

Yeah man, my shade needs some more lore

Not sure I understand what you're talking about but I'll just drop in and say different places also roll the clocks around on different dates. Not sure if that's relevant to what you're talking about, but something something DST is stupid anyway.

+1 to you
Jumping has needed improvement for a quite some time.

Fire rate mods actually do increase charge speed.

Think you also need to have some other sidearm. Even if you're not going to equip it, if consuming both boltos leaves you with 0 sidearms, you can't do it. Unless that changed. Should be able to just credit-buy a lato

I love the film grain. Good as an overlay type of thing for infested missions, or at least alerts. Perhaps make fog/film grain an option in menu?

Hope it's a halloween 2.0 palette instead of the one from before

Just dropping in real quick to throw some ideas into the mix:
Make banish work like ember's fireball. Anything besides allies that gets caught in the blast gets banished/unbanished based on which plane it is in at the time. This includes limbo himself, so rift walk can be replaced.
Second ability can be replaced with an ability to drop a portal type of thing (something like a crack in the air). Allies/Limbo can run through it to jump back and forth between rift as needed. Could also be dropped in strategic positions to "banish" any enemies that run through it.
Rift surge should, rather than being a damage boost, be pure utility. Any enemy in the rift is stunned for some amount of time (like the blind effect).
Cataclysm is cool as is, but I'd like it even more if the bubble didn't shrink. The damage from the popping isn't really that significant and it works much better as an ability that establishes a sort of "rift arena."

The mod is only active while channeling. You can't do that in the arsenal, so you won't actually see the stats change.
-
Cool cool. Thanks

Alternatively, ground slam could trigger if you aim your directional melee attack at a low enough angle. Maybe 30-60 degrees up from looking straight down? Maybe even some user-defined angle?
-
"Nobody likes [trolling] or thinks it's funny."
I thought that was the whole idea. :P
Also, what sort of balance you you suggest for covering only cryopod? Cataclysm is spherical, crypod is oval(ish). If you want to cover the length of it the sides still have enough bubble to let some enemies in. That said, good strategy for non-infested defense.

I went to a defense mission and just ran around firing opticor without triggering first wave.
Fired up, down, all around, through some storage thingies, shot while walking, shot while falling, shot while spinning, shot far, shot near...
Went through probably 50 consecutive shots with opticor with no crash.
My guess is it has something to do with enemies.

Thanks
anyone have status on opticor? Still crashing or fixed?
-
Good feedback. Agreed with most of it.
Would be cool if first ability worked like ember's fireball, only on impact everything in the aoe is "rifted" instead of burned.
Second ability should definitely be a toggle.
Third ability seems lackluster. All it does buff dmg in rift. Seems almost like they ran out of ideas for powers and just kinda threw that one in there to fill a space.
I'll have to play a bit more with cataclysm before I can comment on it, but I do like the fact that you make throw it down and walk in and out of the rift at will. Could be used as a workaround for rift walk not being toggleable?

I've crashed two times now, and both times, it's been because I fired the Opticor.
IT'S TOO STRONG.
This right here. I can't even level this thing because every couple dozen shots, it fires clean through the evolution engine and I CTD.

It's here!

That's not edgy, that's tacky.
I don't know man; I see a sword...
*budum tsss*

Yeah, what they said. ^

Defensive because how could you be offended by something that looks that cool?
