Gilded Truth - Burston

Any possibility in changing Gilded-Truth to work on all Burston Variants and not limited to just Burston Prime?

Entropy Burst for Supra also works for Supra Vandal

Likewise Triple-Tap (Conclave) for the Burston also works on Burston Prime

I understand Scattered Justice not working on Vaykor Hek due to multiple Syndicate proc...aka double-dipping.

Why have a Bustron Augment/Syndicate Mod for a weapon only the prime variant and not the normal variant? Especially after the recent weapon balanace stat pass puts the Burston Prime at MR12 with most of the relics possessing the Burston Prime being Vaulted Relics.

I think the Syndicate Mod would get more use on the normal Burston if it could be slotted.

I hate this site's tendency to double-post when your connection is slow.

Anyway, to clarify, it is called 'Gilded Truth' because it goes on a gilded weapon.

Thank you for presenting that argument:

But Burston is a copy/replication/reproduction/remanufacturing of the Burston Prime.

Not that the Burston Prime is a Prime variant of the Burston.

Ie.. Burston Prime being the original or Vanilla version and the Burston is a copy of-it.

So the Burston is a replication of the "Gilded" Burston Prime and as an inferior copy of the Burston Prime it should be able to use Burston Prime Mods.

Thus Burston Prime being the Original Variant like normal Supra. With Supra Vandal being a variation of Supra and Burston being a variation of Burston Prime.

Not a Prisma, Wraith, Mara, Vandal, Syndicate variation of a vanilla weapon.

In this case the vanilla variant is actually the Burston Prime with just "Burston" being the variant.

Why would an inferior product be compatible with everything the 'vanilla' version is?

I can think of quite a few inferior versions of products that are incompatible with add-ons, dongles, accessories, programs, apps, etc. that were designed for the original. Off-brand smartphones, trial versions of software, kids tablets vs normal tablets, and so on.

Why would weapons and mods be any different?

Burston P is one of the Prime items that will likely never be vaulted, like the Braton P, and consists of mostly Common pieces except one Uncommon.

Seems like it is specifically on the Burston P for a reason. If usable on the regular Burston, there would likely be changes.

Makes sense.

Just seems odd for a Syndicate Mod (which can be acquired early on) for a relatively high MR Exclusive weapon and unable be a used on a future Burston variant.

But alas, it does have logicical theming for the restriction.

That is a very true argument.
