(PSN)Tomplexthis
I was just thinking about Ye' olde' Stalker weapons and how they kind of fall flat today... So many fantastic weapons in Warframe that completely outclass our old menace of a friend The old days when we would strive to get our hands on despair, hate, dread. Replaced with stuff like Lenz. BOOM, Sonicor BOOM, and Zenistar. yup, additionaly Ostron melee's outclass a ton of weapons Not much here but an idea of 1, raising the stats a bit, and 2, adding a special ability to each weapon just some TLC, perks and buffs to his old classics, also... what can we do with these 300 dread blueprints we all have? [Any ideas on that}... ---Dread--- Spoiler Mastery 5 TopWeapon Slot Primary MiniMapMod Type Bow Trigger Type Charge Utility Ammo Type Bow Flight Speed 70 m/s Noise Level Silent Fire Rate 0 Accuracy 16.7 Magazine Size 1 round per mag Max Ammo 72 rounds Reload Time 0.7 s Disposition 2 Uncharged Shot Impact b 6.5 Puncture b 6.5 Slash b 117.0 Total Damage 130.0 (Slash b 90%) Crit Chance 25% Crit Multiplier 2.0x Status Chance 20% Charged Shot Impact b 10.0 Puncture b 10.0 Slash b 180.0 Total Damage 200.0 (Slash b 90%) Charge Time 0.5 s Crit Chance 50% Crit Multiplier 2.0x Status Chance 20% Punch Through 2.5 m Fire Rate 0.0 rounds per sec Miscellaneous Polarities 2 Madurai *New Dread* (Ability: Head-shots will restore health to the player, equal to 5% of the damage dealt, and applies +1 punch through to dreads arrows for 3 seconds) Mastery 5 TopWeapon Slot Primary MiniMapMod Type Bow Trigger Type Charge Utility Ammo Type Bow Flight Speed 70 m/s Noise Level Silent Fire Rate 0 Accuracy 16.7 Magazine Size 1 round per mag Max Ammo 72 rounds Reload Time 0.7 s Disposition 2 Uncharged ShotImpact b 8.5 Puncture b 8.5 Slash b 123.0 Total Damage 140.0 (Slash b 90%) Crit Chance 25%Crit Multiplier 3.0x** Status Chance 20% Charged ShotImpact b 12.0 Puncture b 12.0 Slash b 186.0 Total Damage 210.0 (Slash b 90%) Charge Time 0.5 s Crit Chance 50%Crit Multiplier 3.5x** Status Chance 20% Punch Through 2.5 m Fire Rate 0.0 rounds per sec Miscellaneous Polarities 2 Madurai another ability? Dread hits an enemy, and emits a Dread status pulse, this will not alert enemies. enemies within 6m of the target, are inflicted with Dread a Duo status that lasts 6 seconds Their movements are slowed by 40% and they cannot be alerted if they see or hear something. [basically blinds them] This only applies to an enemy dread doesn't kill if an enemy is already alerted they stay alerted, but if not, they get blinded as well So if dread kills the enemy, the status doesn't apply, but if it does not, it applies This means hitting a target and not killing them with the arrows, will not alert them to the damage they took and dreads all nearby enemies as well ---Hate--- Spoiler Mastery 2 TopWeapon Slot Melee MiniMapMod Type Scythe Utility Attack Speed 0.917 Channeling Dmg 1.5x Block Resist. 85% Disposition 5 Normal Attacks Impact b 10.5 Puncture b 10.5 Slash b 49.0 Total Damage 70.0 (Slash b 70%) Crit Chance 20% Crit Multiplier 2.5x Status Chance 15% Other Attacks Slam Attack 140.0 Slide Attack 140.0 Wall Attack 140.0 Miscellaneous Stance Polarity 1 Naramon I only really thought up 3 things, boosted speed, crit and a new ground slam power. *New Hate* Ability: Ground slam attack shock-waves generate a hate status in enemies within a 12m radius, causing them to fight each-other for 8 seconds Enemies will use melee only to fight each other and will not use their guns Mastery 5** TopWeapon Slot Melee MiniMapMod Type Scythe UtilityAttack Speed 1.117** Channeling Dmg 1.5x Block Resist. 85% Disposition 5 Normal AttacksImpact b 12.5 Puncture b 12.5 Slash b 55.0 Total Damage 80.0 (Slash b 70%)Crit Chance 35%** Crit Multiplier 3.0x** Status Chance 15% Other Attacks Slam Attack 140.0 Slide Attack 140.0 Wall Attack 140.0 Miscellaneous Stance Polarity 1 Naramon ---Despair--- Spoiler Mastery 4 TopWeapon Slot Secondary MiniMapMod Type Thrown Trigger Type Auto Utility Ammo Type Pistol Flight Speed 70 m/s Noise Level Silent Fire Rate 3.33 rounds per sec Accuracy 100 Magazine Size 10 rounds per mag Max Ammo 210 rounds Reload Time 0.75 s Disposition 4 Normal Attacks Impact b 2.9 Puncture b 46.4 Slash b 8.7 Total Damage 58.0 (Puncture b 80%) Crit Chance 16% Crit Multiplier 1.6x Status Chance 16% Miscellaneous Polarities 2 Madurai *New Despair* Ability: When an enemy is killed by despair, they emit a radial fear effect upon nearby enemies within a 6m radius that lasts 8 seconds Enemies feared will flee in terror for 8 seconds Mastery 5** TopWeapon Slot Secondary MiniMapMod Type Thrown Trigger Type Auto Utility Ammo Type Pistol Flight Speed 70 m/s Noise Level Silent Fire Rate 3.33 rounds per sec Accuracy 100Magazine Size 10 rounds per mag Max Ammo 210 rounds *Despair is now endless in a sense akin to a Cycron/Hema, with its own supply of ammunition, no longer a ammo pool A mag is now 22, and once empty it drains 10 of the players health per reload Reload Time 1.25 s**Disposition 4 Normal AttacksImpact b 4.9 Puncture b 52.4 Slash b 10.7 Total Damage 68.0 (Puncture b 80%)Crit Chance 22%** Crit Multiplier 2.2x** Status Chance 16% Miscellaneous Polarities 2 Madurai Edited September 26, 2018 by (PS4)Tomplexthis
(PSN)Tomplexthis
dreads healing works with the health cost to using despair and hate would be fun to mess with enemies fear them and make them fight eachother... hate dread despair Could be interesting if dread had its own status as well, but you tend to kill most enemies with it so a radial status on death? Hate makes them fight eachother Despair makes them flee in terror
(PSN)Tomplexthis
when i think DREAD, i think sloggish sad and slow So what if Dread caused a slowing effect on enemies it didnt kill? and it pulsed to others nearby like a virus? Somewhat like Equinox's calm and frenzy augment Dread hits an enemy, and emits a Dread status pulse, this will not alert enemies. enemies within 6m of the target, are inflicted with Dread a Duo status that lasts 6 seconds Their movements are slowed by 40% and they cannot be alerted if they see or hear something. -.SP.-G43riel
1st - you dont need to keep answering / posting to your own thread just edit your first post 2nd - Your comparisions make no sense, Lenz? Zenistar? 3rd - Dread and Despair still are great weapons, you're probably just modding them wrong If anything only Hate actually needed some working review, but not the one you're suggesting here

(PSN)chris1pat8twins
I can kind of see Stalker returning with the other 2/3rd of the War that he has merged into his other weapons to create a more powerful Dread, Despair, and Hate. Combining the sentient energy with his weapons. Maybe calling them Anguish Despair, Raging Hate, Horrible Dread. Don’t know. Maybe I’m taking the names a little too literal but... either way, Stalker is no longer a challenge and his weapons are nearly forgotten. “The Tenno have gotten stronger. They have allied themselves with Umbra. In order to defeat them, I too, must become stronger... must become... terror... incarnate” - Stalker. “I’m back Tenno” - Stalker “I thought he was dead!!!” - Tenno ”oh no! You must... KILL HIM... run away operator” - Ordis
5H4DE
Hell those passives alone would make me wanna use them more, but a buff to stats is indeed needed a bit at least for Despair and Hate, Dread is still pretty good.
Almighty_Jado
Considering the MR of Dread, it doesn't need a buff at all.
