Oh yeah. They said that in the Devstream.

Was kind of hoping the primaries would go to infested.
But it doesn't sound unreasonable to say all factions will have modular versions of all weapons types, especially with all the planets.

No, but that might mean the tool is connected to her model mesh so the glow of her body and tool belong to the same layer and thus not a separate entity. So it could just be some random do-dad we will never use.

Some of the other Solaris use it too. It's a welder of some description. Though I imagine you could probably retrofit it into a flamethrower.

What is Rosie Eudico holding? Probably a riveter of some description. I feel like DE did say something about if we would get to use it or not, but I forget the answer. When in doubt, assume yes.

Based on the way we see it used its probably a portable welding gun, like a futuristic version of a MIG.
