Why does the warframe come to the operator and not the opposite?

When we first learn we can do this we use it to travel to the Kuva Fortress, to our warframe to retrieve it and push the Queens' teeth in.

So why in mechanics does the warframe drag itself to the operator's position?

Because it's better for gameplay.  It used to work that you would go back to where your frame was, but especially in Eidolon fights this could be a problem because EIdlons would travel 100s of meters while you were in operator mode.... when you exited operator mode you would be halfway across the map... it was just bad.

When the operator "dies" you do go back to your Warframe. But only when your Operator "dies". If you volunteerly go back, then yes you drag your Warframe to your postion.

I would love it if they added the ability to teleport back to your Warframe if you held the Focus key. Then have tap bring your Warframe to you as it does now.

Excalibur Umbra used to do that for me then one hotfix later it was back to normal. Idk if was supposed to be a feature or just a glitch but it was kinda cool. Maybe if they add more Umbra frames id like to see it implemented.
