mcryseria
Right now there are clipping bugs and terrain impossibilities that renders looting almost a nuisance. Solution is to make life/energy orbs, Mods and Ammo magnetically attracted to warframes. A range of about 1-2 in game meters should suffice, just enough to get loot from those tight spots, and hard to reach nooks and crannies. Edit: Don't forget to +1 if you like the idea. BTW Loot doesn't necessarily need to be magnetically attracted to the warframe, DE could also just increase the loot pick-up radius by 1-2 in game meters. ProjectKaeon
I agree, the loot pick up range needs to be increased that's it really.
Drasiel
yeah the loot pickup is really tiny, not only is stuff falling in to awkward corners and issue but so is the having to run right over (pretty much exactly) ammo pickups. God forbid you are a little to far to the right or left because you are not picking that sucker up.
Vaskadar
It'd be really sweet to see it kinda get sucked up. Would be a good addition to the current Thief's Wit to make it more of a utility mod, too, but... having a loot vacuum would be pretty rad. You get the Vaskaderp stamp of approval. ArcSynder
On one hand this sounds awesome and I love it. On the other hand, when I'm not hosting that's more laggy physics to deal with
Aver
honestly after a certain point of playing certain mission types like defense, im starting to feel that mods or at the very least resources should just be given to you instead of if being picked up, there are just so many ways to miss something for no good reason
TheImmortalHotDog
There needs to be an Attraction mod or something like that, other wise I'll be lagging all over the place. MeteorKing
Doesn't need an animation, Tenno could just have a larger pickup radius.
Maou
This sounds pretty good, Our suit to have their very own vacuum cleaner.
CloudPies
Some times the loot falls though a tiny gap in the floor mesh... +1 to stop mods disappearing
birdei
Got tired of running around to do pick ups so a crazy idea came into my head a few days ago before the changes, have Mag's pull ability, pull EVERYTHING including orbs/ammo/mods/materials right to her feet. Well that idea kinda went bust cause of the ragdoll pull update. Doesnt vortex sucks up the stuff also? GeoffFromAccounting
I just searched for this topic. I was going to suggest a mod that increases pick up radius. soooooo, great job Nekro'ing a thread, it was REALLY needed (sarcasm)
leonvision
it might make Carrier's power seem less useful in comparison, but i support this idea.
Freelancer27
This, I honestly wanted to get it implemented. But then Carrier needs a Vacuum buff... and/or two or more fixes. (Edit: nothing much.) Edited October 23, 2013 by Freelancer27
kubbi
I agree. The radius for picking up loot it too small. You are able to pick loot up only if you directly step on it. Cmon let me pick up things with just a slight touch of my pinky toe.

scavenge
Back to Dethcube then, no more carriers to be spotted ingame :p
Chymos
it might make Carrier's power seem less useful in comparison, but i support this idea. No reason why that couldn't be buffed a little as well to compensate.
Zarlockk
Carrier will retire then
Tsukinoki
@Zarlockk The attraction only needs to be 1 or 2 meters at max to enable the fetching of mats and mods and orbs that are between two crates where you cant directly step on them, or to allow you to brush an item without needing to go over its center point. Carrier has a range of 10 meters. I dont think we would see many retirings of carrier because it would still have a *much* larger range than the pickup of the warframe. saop
Easy fix. Give warframes vacuum inherently, while the Carrier mod gets changed from vacuum to Roomba!
Alkirin
Carrier won't be retired or rendered inert if the pickup radius was extended to .5-1m instead of on touch.
Ferriwind
I'd settle for loot not flying 10 meters into the air wasting seconds each time before you are able to gather them. Edited October 23, 2013 by Stygi
