Shantyu
There's not a whole lot to say about the flashlight in-game. It's annoying, puts a huge hole in stealth immersion (An example; Ivara using prowl, no physical appearance, yet still the flashlight shines as bright as the sun.) It has been useful in the past. Certain dark areas in a certain quest line gave it good use. HOWEVER! For the caves in Fortuna, and Plains of Eidolon, it's completely useless. The contrast is painful and displeasing. PLEASE! I'M BEGGIN' YA! TOGGLE!
5H4DE
Yes please, that thing doesn't help at all, might as well straight up remove it.
Szuna
A handy idea. I voted up this too.
Ryim_Drykeon
Upvoted. No flashlight when we could really use one, bright as heck and in the way when we don't. Gives the impression as being either programmed by a sadist or a 2 yo. (or a sadistic 2 yo). Remove,or toggle please.

EmberStar
It would be nice if it had a toggle. It seems really erratic if it turns on or not in dark areas. I don't play with Adaptive Exposure (because it looks awful on my setup.) As a result, dark areas are pitch black. On the Corpus Ice Planet tileset, there's a couple of spots where the mission path might go through some air ducts. If it does, I basically have to bump along the wall and hope that I can muddle through it. The light also refuses to turn on in the Eidolon caves, some of which are also dark enough to make navigating them kind of difficult. It would be nice to be able to turn the light on manually when needed.
eagerstriker
Yeah I really wish this was a toggle, as it make mining a pain due to it making the sweet spots difficult to see.
