So going by https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Mastery_Rank#Mastery_Benefits , I'd recommend the Hek and the Sonicor.

As both are really good weapons, and will help get you ready for other weapons, you should work on getting both of those to a maxed out build.  For the weapon builds, check out http://warframe-builder.com/ .  You'll need to search https://warframe.fandom.com/ for the mod drop locations, and if you really want to spend platinum to bypass the grind (not recommended), you can get them off of https://warframe.market/ .  IMO, you should put forth the effort to do as much as possible without spending plat.

In these cases you can simply go to the market and search "MR5", and a list with all MR5 weapons should pop up.

But in case you are looking for a solid setup for a player of your MR I recommend Hek and Guandao (both MR4) and Atomos (MR5). These are solid weapons for the entire game but don't forget to discover others! The game is full of splendid weapons. Cheers!

Edit: Just tried it to be sure, but to no avail. Strange, because I'm sure I did it before. Or it's some other key expression in order to get the weapons sorted by MR, idk. Best luck anyhow!

IMO the Vaykor Hek doesn't gain enough of an advantage over the Hek until you get both primed mods, and have everything maxed out.  By building out (and maxing out the mods) for the Hek first, you lay a lot of the necessary groundwork for the Vaykor Hek so that it starts strong and gets better.

That's true. It was a typo tho (corrected) since it's far from MR5, and not good for OP's request. It's just the we have Hek, Vaykor Hek, a Vay Hek boss, which can get very confusing at times lol
