What are the sources of all the platinum in the economy?

You can obviously buy plat for real money and that injects it into the economy, but can you earn plat directly from the game(from something like a mission)? And if so does anyone know the percentage of bought to earned plat in the economy?

You can't earn it in game.  You can get it from giveaways during dev streams and Primetime streams or some promo codes but in those cases it is not tradeable.  All tradeable plat will have been bought either as a plat purchase or as part of a Prime Access, Prime Vault or other bundle.

You can trade/sell prime parts and other stuff for plat in trade chat. Not everything is tradable or sellable however.

Farm relics (sell relics to get plat), farm arbitration (sell mods and sculptures to get plat), farm nightmare (for nightmare mods to sell for plat), farm eidolon (for arcanes to sell to get plat), farm events (for weapon parts and rare mods to sell for plat), etc so on so forth. But you have to be able to find someone who wants to buy the item your wanting to sell at a price you and they will both accept
