Mission time limits

I was wondering if missions had an experation point after completing them. I looked this up, and it seems that for Extermination missions there is a time limit if you do not kill something every so often and the misson is a failure. My question is, does this apply to all misson types? I like to look around and since reading this I haven't really been doing so. The info was a bit vague. Than you.

I don't know the extermination timer applies to other missions too....

In any case I believe almost all Sabotage Missions have a timer where you must extract after completing the sabotage otherwise you fail when the facility blows up.

There's also an AFK timer in endless missions that wil deny rewards to any players who don't move their warframes...

Thats all the timers I know of...

Oh BTW.... in survival missions the timer will stop if you run out of Life Support...

There is a timer in all missions, 

It's about an hour in most non endless missions. 

Lotus will tell you that you need to extract or will fail, it won't be an immediate fail without notice so I wouldn't worry too much.

The only time I've hit the time limit, was a very long time ago, when first attempting the Jordas Golem, quite unprepared. 

Somewhere between 30min and 1hour.

It happened to me once when I spent too long figuring out Lua spy vaults. I didn't kill anything for a long time, and suddenly was given a minute or two to finish up and extract.

Needlessly to say, I failed.

Once, as a newbie, I timed out on Sortie Lephantis.  I'd killed all the adds and the head that spawns them first. Apparently that's not super uncommon for newbies on Sortie Lephantis, either 😉
