Change Phantasma to a crossbow

This weapon was supposed to kill eidolons. It would make sense as a crossbow for accurate hits on the synovia. Not only that, no warframe has a signature crossbow, and crossbows are weapons that were made on Earth, which is where Revenant was.

Now to make it a cross bow, the main fire will be the blob. The secondary will be the stream. When firing the blob, charging it cost only up to 5 extra ammo before it caps, to save ammo. At low charge, you get the normal blob now. At max charge, you get a no dropoff fast moving orb. The orb does a base damage of 250 rad (don't know if this is weak or strong) and 1000 at max charge. Sadly, for this to make sense, it cannot have an explosive AOE effect on max charge, for it to be like a crossbow. But, this should make it quite viable against eidolons. Released bullets from the blob deal 10% of blob damage and there are 5 or them.

Now for the stream, it will have 50% less damage, higher status chance, and will have dropoff, but will put a lock on enemies, covering them in eidolon goop making them targets for the blob bullets. Bullets will move 100% faster to these enemies, and deal 30% damage of the blob to them. This should make it so you'll want to use the stream to hit targets, then blob another group of enemies, and then have the bullets kill enemies with the eidolon goop.

Wrong. Garuda has a signature crossbow that is called Nagantaka.

Instead of this absurd request to completely change an existing weapon, why not make a Sentient crossbow and leave the Phantasma as is?

Additionally: Garuda has the Nagantaka; Hydroid has the Ballistica Prime.

A terrible change. Higher status chance? As if the Phantasma currently doesn't remove armor in like two seconds.

It's made from Sentient parts, but I can't (after a whole one Wiki page check, heh)
find any reference to this being a specifically anti-Eidolon weapon.

That's somewhat questionable logic, most weapon types we have in the game are based on "Earth originals".

Why not ask for a new weapon that fits your wishes? Why completely change this one?

I would really like a sentient crossbow but I think it should be its own weapon instead of changing an existing and (IMO) fairly interesting weapon.

NOPE! Absolutely not. Phantasma is perfect as it stands. Any changes would ruin it.
