So far all I've seen was a generic talk ala "I'm gonna kill you and it's going to be painful", "I'm gonna enjoy ripping you apart" etc, etc.

I hope there is more to that. After all Steve said it's inspired from Shadow of Mordor... or so I believe. Anyway, I hope there would be a lot of unique interactions based on your frame and what you did in the previous fight. You know, stuff like:
- To Trinity who ran away: "You think you'll get away this time?! Not even your pathetic blessing will save you now!"
- To Frost who won previous fight: "So you came for me again. Good! I can't wait to get some of those freezing powers!"
- To Garuda at first encounter: "I see you like ripping things apart. So do I! Say, maybe we can share our best techniques? Come, let me show you what I can do."
- To an Excalibur after multiple fights, lich became general: "Aha! AHAHAHAHAHA! Oh hey flashy warrior! Got something else than that cheap flashlight this time? Because I got a ship to command! Hey I got an idea: Let's throw a party! You would be honourable guest! We'll pack all that honour you got left in a pinata! It'll be so much fun!"

I’ve seen the liches say some pretty humorous things on the streams.

It's possible. Maybe not as granular as a per-Warframe (because that's a lot of recording), but DE are keeping a bunch of stuff under wraps about the system. I could definitely see something relating to their recent track record (if they've killed you in the last encounter or vice versa).

 

"Ah, it's you! I believe you left some bullets in my spine last we met. Allow me to return them."

"Hm! Surprised you're brave enough to show your face around here. I crushed you like a bug last time, and my boots have only gotten stronger."
