0 taiiat Posted January 25, 2020 Share Posted January 25, 2020 do you like the style of it? it might be worth using. it's a Burst Rifle that goes in your Melee Slot. it has more shooting uptime than Redeemer since it's a Burst Rifle rather than a Shotgun, so you don't have to worry about it being a Shotgun. Accuracy is only so-so so you don't really snipe with Gunblades but the Accuracy is good enough generally. Sarpa offers more Status stacking than Redeemer does, if that's of interest for you. as while Redeemer can only apply Blast, and either Rad/Viral, Corro/more Blast (don't use this), or Magnetic/Gas - Sarpa can apply IPS + up to two Elemental types. and is Slash weighted. also Sarpa shoots/animates more quickly than Redeemer. so still, if you like it, then maybe. as for Armor weakening it can apply Corrosive/Fire Status but people are probably referring to it being able to use Shattering Impact to weaken/remove Armor from Status immune Enemies. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 Zeyez Posted January 25, 2020 Share Posted January 25, 2020 about its "armor stripper" feature, its because of Shattering Impact mod that deduct 6 base armor [armor that counts before applying the enemy's level] per pellet (depending on combo stance, it shoots 5 or 10 pellets), not dependable of status chance or elemental combination on it since the majority of the enemies in warframe has 200 base armor or less, 34 pellets are enough to disable most of their armor, except ones that are immune against that mod like Profit Taker orb bad thing its the fact that Sarpa isn't good against enemies up-close, unlike majority of other weapons and most of its stance combos starts and ends by shotting plus the fact that it works more like burst rifle on its fire mode, unlike redeemer that has shotgun-like bullets Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
0 nslay Posted January 25, 2020 Share Posted January 25, 2020 Not only Shattering Impact, but they bumped the status up on Sarpa with the latest melee changes. So you can easily get 100% status chance with corrosive (use Primed Fever Strike to heavily weight Corrosive over Blast!). I use Corrosive + Shattering Impact for those annoying high level Tusk Bolkors. I think 2-3 Sarpa shots and then I can one shot it with Kuva Chakkhurr. Also, use High Noon!
