(PSN)Rainbow_Neos1 Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Once again, my gear wheel reset itself by deleting all but the first 14 slots. It seems to have been caused by swapping mining drills out. This has happened multiple times before (not due to swapping drills), and it's tiring to have to keep restoring my wheel. Edit: I have now went through and replaced it all again, and half of it removed itself again (down to slot 26). Edit: Tried again. Once again, it deleted stuff, but this time it was a few slots instead of a bunch. This has been the most frustrating experience.
CitizenV Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 It happened again to me today on PC as well. Lost all my slots beyond slot 17. I probably had ~25 slots filled before.
Ixxixxi Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 Yeah same thing happened to me just now, I only realised because I glanced at my cypher count when I opened a door and it was zero. One rotation of slots left, everything outside that gone. PC version.

silvaril Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Heya Swapped in the Ebisu Fishing Spear and the Necramech Launcher and got reset to only the Hotkeyed Gear items. Did not notice at the time, only when in the field and trying to apply something I had in the wheel beyond the ones left.

Did you scroll to the last item, then change anything in gear wheel to avoid this bug? My Workaround: Scroll all the way to the last item in gear wheel, then change anything in gear wheel. All items should stay and not disappear. As I was going through replacing stuff; however, I did indeed do what you said (bc I had to) and it did not save the wheel. Stuff still got deleted.

It seems like you figured out one source of the bug months ago? I hope they implement a fix soon. I can't be bothered to remember to do this every time I want to change something in my gear wheel. Mine got messed up again today, only 3 days after I last fixed it.
