Welcome back. You missed quite a lot. There is a thread with a list of updates up to June 2018

If you haven't done so, progress through the star chart first. Even if you have most nodes unlocked, you probably don't have junctions completed. These are mission nodes between planets and have specific requirements to access. They unlock quests and some items, so you should probably focus on that first. You will get access to all the systems organically.

Alerts have been replaced with nightwave, a system similar to battle passes from other games. When you click on your ship radio you will see a set of challenges to complete. Getting nightwave reputation will allow you to get some mods and stuff like orokin reactors for your warframes.

We also have 3 open worlds now. Each has an introductory quest and missions of varying difficulty and some bosses. Progressing through star chart will allow you to enter them.

Last time I checked it was still “fashion frame” send help please.

Pretty much the same, but now you have a couple of "harder" missions and bosses to tickle and when you are bored of all of them and can sleep-finish them fashion frame is still the endgame.
But if you haven't played for that long it will be quite some time until you get there.
Many new systems, many many new mods, weapons and warframes and quite a lot of mechanics changes.
Treat it as you are starting brand new imo, it will be easier this way.

So what happened to embers World on Fire ability? The frame isn’t worth it anymore.
