MyDoomWin32
Hello. I have installed new Windows. My Warframe installation (that was installed earlier, standalone non-Steam) is on separate drive. Is it possible to use somehow that old Warframe installation (or reinstall using those files)? Don't like the idea to download those GBs again.
Prexades
The client is currently about 39GB in size. The size was recently reduced with some optimizations. Unless you are on some bandwith limit I would recommend to just download the latest client.
AltairFerenc
I'd say to just start warframe from that old drive again and see how it goes, maybe do a verify and optimize too. I think there's a high chance it would work but not completly sure.
khazlol
think i made it work by saving the entire steam folder. but that was back in 2016, things might have changed. but i think you are fine

MyDoomWin32
Ok, I tried to install it to the same folder. Seems installer recognize old files. However my settings are gone.
Nurmetya
It can work but I don't recommend it as it can result in a buggy installation and errors with future/current patches and updates, this is coming from experience with doing exactly what you propose. So unless you are under some sort of bandwidth limit I would recommend re-downloading the game.
