Duality52 Posted February 5, 2021 Share Posted February 5, 2021 Shield Maiden is similar to Rhino's Iron Skin; it's affected by Bonewidow's Health, Armor, and Ability Strength altogether. With Bonewidow's Rank 30 modded Health and Armor (5760 Health and 950 Armor fully modded) and Necramech Intensify, Shield Maiden's health reaches up to 5687 Health (rounded down). If I run around with my shield its basically just for aesthetics lol, seeing my energy color in more places. Nothing should be alive long enough to be dealing damage to your Bonewidow.... The Shield does more than just block damage, but it's a mobility bonus for Bonewidow. Bonewidow will ignore the charge/slide (tap and hold sprint) recovery animation on the ground with the Shield. Pair that with the Ironbride, you can literally slash and dash around the battlefield. The worse advice I keep seeing from people is how people are suggesting that Shield Maiden is not worth using, yet it provides the much needed mobility component Bonewidow is known for.
