You missed it. 

It already came back recently, along with the Ceti Lacera. 

It was just called Operation Orphix Venom (different event, but same rewards and some new ones, I guarantee you won't see SS again and thank god, Squad link is awful). You have probably closer to a year now to wait for the next front to open up in The New War against the sentients.

Yep you missed it, you'll have to wait until it comes around again. Though like mentioned above SS was a bit of a mess.
