Ranking Helminth up

Do I understand wiki correctly when it states that the only ways to upgrade Helminth (in order to unlock new Metamorphoses) are:

1) Subsuming Warframes

2) Injecting Abilities

3) Feeding resources?

I have subsumed 3 frames, and there are no free slots at the moment. Resources are at 100% as well. And I do not want to inject any ability at the moment. How do I level Helminth up?

Can I inject an ability on a rank 0 frame which I will subsume later when I unlock more slots?

NVM, I can actually inject an ability and instantly remove it, and it does not interfere subsuming the frame whom I injected an ability to.

I thought there will be a timer after injecting/removing an ability, like when you subsume a frame.

You can also feed even if you are at 100%.

Maybe I was doing smth wrong, but when I tried clicking on a resource, it gave me a warning that I can't feed further. Or I haven't read carefully enough and it warned about something else actually

I don't think you can.

I had the same problem at one point. Had to inject abilities to be able to get past that level.

Maybe im wrong. I sware you used to be able to.
