Suggested Synergies

Mind Control & Chaos - When Nyx uses Chaos while a Mind Control unit is in range They will gain a 100% - 200% base Movement Speed, Attack Speed, Reload and Fire Rate increase that scales with strength. This will help further mitigate the AI’s flaws because if the mind control target is faster it will most likely be able to compensate for its sloppy targeting and movement. This ally buff will disappear when Mind Controls duration runs out/is dispelled.

Mind Control & Psychic Bolts - When Nyx uses Psychic Bolts it will have a minor Passive effect of triggering Mind controlled units to Preform their Unique Attack (with a cool-down of 10s ~ 15s) *if* it has one.

List of Examples :

• Heavy Gunners will preform a ground slam

• Arson Eximus Units will use their Flame Blast

• Blast Eximus will use their horizontal Blast

•Brood Mothers will Spawn maggots

•Hyeka Masters will spawn their Kavats

•Manics will preform a finisher on an enemy 

•Corpus Heavy Units will spawn a sheild Osprey ect.

•Moa Walkers will stomp

•Mutalist Moas will use their Tar attack

•Narmer Enemies preform their laser

+ Several More (on rare instance enemies with absolutely no such ability however they’ll simply throw a grenade)

Most People like myself Mind Control enemies especially the ones previously stated as a chance to see/use their special abilities in a beneficial way. Having a way to trigger the AI to preform them will not only be fun and engaging but will also bring Nyx significantly closer to her concept of a mind controlling psychic. (The cool-down will be there so the trigger will not completely break AI animation and have too many particles on the screen which can disrupt gameplay.) Furthermore the cool-down would have no effect on the way psychic bolts is used normally.

Mind Control & Absorb - All the damage you receive while in Absorb will also be ADDED to the damage % of your Mind Control for the rest of the Mind Controls Duration. (This will be shown with the % UI increasing simultaneously while Nyx Absorb damage Increases).

A way to give mind control a boost of an increased damage output while Nyx is stationary or in a slower state with her augment, Covering her lack of damage out-put and as always compensating for the Mind Controlled unit’s A.I. This will also give Mind Control units a way of scaling with enemy level even if your weapons aren’t up to par it’ll take much longer but it’ll be a great addition overall increasing its DPS since their current damage output is just not good enough and does not scale well and WILL absolutely need an increase in order to catch up.

Chaos & Absorb - While Absorb is active damage done to Nyx from Enemies affected by chaos does not  increase its energy drain (however will still increase its damage output).

I feel like these Synergies will be a huge improvement to Nyx. Before I suggested Nyx have a new ability and her 2nd and 3rd ability be fused but that was before I really thought the idea through and the potential of Warframe Synergies. And I am way more confident in this idea than my previous one. Any further explanations are required or pls let me know.

Non-Synergy Changes + Buffs

Passive - Nyx can now see enemies affected by her abilities (MC Chaos & Psychic Bolts) through walls and her abilities can also hit affected enemies through walls. Suggestion By @Azamagon

Mind Control Unit should have the higher target priority when both Nyx and the MC unit are in enemy sight (will also be switched off when Absorb is active)

• Mind Control should not be instantly dispelled when they enter Nullifiers Bubble especially considering the investment you put in These allies. So  Instead the interaction should work kinda like how Nekros Shadows do. while in Nullifier bubbles Mind Controlled units will start lose their business Damage % or Duration (idk the best option out of them) until it reaches 0 and THEN it should be dispelled on the unit.

Mind Control should also NOT still continue to receive debuffs from allies like Nova’s slow, Excaliburs blind or Banshee Silence when Mind Controlled and should be cleansed of all Debuffs when the 4 second Casting Animation and damage window ends and be immune to de-buffs until dispelled.

Eximus Mind Controlled Units should gain certain aspects of Overguard like being Prevented from being CC’d , staggered, knockdown being dispelled by enemy nullifiers entirely and CC/Silence immunity from Accolyte Abilities. This would make them even more rewarding for mind controlling them.

Pre-emptive Mind Control on Overguarded Enemies - If possible Mind Control should have a dormant state effect on Overguarded enemies to which it instantly takes effect after the Overguard is removed. (Not sure if this is possible however)

I say this because while playing Nyx I noticed that while trying to get rid of overguard I often kill the Eximus unit I was trying to control, so making it possible to actually pull it off will be great imo.

Nyx Passive Augment - Symbiotic Control - Mind Control Loses It’s invulnerability but now provides Nyx with damage transferral (to a capped 60% at High Strength) Mind Control Units now gain a health boost from the damage received from the Tenno during its cast animation (scales with strength/damage output). (Ally damage will still not damage MC units however)
Suggestion By Me & @Azamagon

Psychic Bolts - Improve its targeting so it stops ignoring enemies in front of you. It’s energy cost now scales with targets hit with (0 targets hit making the energy cast 0 however it’s still capped at 50 energy with 6 targets hit) however will still trigger MC units ability passive.

Chaos - Enemies hit by chaos gain a radiation proc with each cast, adding 1 proc each cast on an enemy until a max of 10 stacks to then it just refreshes the enemies current radiation. (The refresh only applies to radiation status affects however and no other proc on the enemy) (weapon modded status duration does affect refresh duration but NOT Nyx ability Duration)

Absorb - Explosive Kinetic Bolts - Pressing primary fire during Absorb (when not using the Assimilate augment) allows her to shoot a moderately fast-travelling explosive bolt of energy straight towards where you aimed. 

 Bolts Cost 10 energy per cast

 * Bolt deals X damage + Y% of her stored damage (using that stored amount in the process), in a decent sized AoE, with a fast semi automatic rate of fire like Hildryns Balefire without the charge up.

 * Strength affects the bolt's damage, Range affects the explosion's AoE.

Strength should also affect its Explosion and Enemy damage conversion.

If these buffs and the MC unit damage transfers from absorb are added. Ally damage should no longer be absorbed by Nyx ofc

Assimilate - Disables Nyx “Kinetic Bolts” & Mind Control Damage transferal but allow Nyx Free Movement while ability is Active bullet jump shooting ect with 100% increase energy cost).

Singularity - Allow rings to be affected by range & not just be centred on nyx but instead placed on a specific location still allows for Kinetic Bolts and Mind Control damage transferal (No increase energy cost)

A way to fix these might be as simple as

Passive nyx and companion is 40% undetectable and 20% evade too everything including OG Bosses ETC [something extra could be if an enemy notices nyx the get a very big headache S#&$ their pants then they are allowed to start fighting (silence but better for stealth)]

- Mind control is improve (AI, buffs to target or similar) [Augment Mind freak currently broken/ instead Control freak mind control 3 targets (two bolts are sent from first target and target available targets]

- Psychic bolts [Do a breach surge multiply damage and add true damage or percentage wise to damage target takes, Also do a saryn enemies effected have enemy sensed aswell as effected enemies cant see nyx and companion (basic psychic invisibilty) ]

- Chaos [do a loki and give enemies a more damage to effected enemies and more damage from mind control targets]

- Absorb [make nyx the focus of attention all damage from both ally and foe is multiplied and will add all damage types to the explosion (especially the other abilities affecting enemies)] {enemies then get heavy staggered and nyx gets 3 seconds invincibilty frames because OG Bosses etc}

Hmm. Now the thread actually makes sense. Why OP did not point that out in a simple presentation sentence while wanting to make a guide for how to properly make threads or posts is quite frankly lightyears beyond me.

You can highlight and right click on PC. It should be labeled “clear original format” or something along those lines

There’s also an option on top of the post (when posting or editing)
