Gamoholik Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 I thought that Warframe is the safest game without cheaters; considering that it is a CO-OP game and not Multiplayer. Today I saw that it is not like that. Someone is Cheating, or its a bug?(not likely) but today a teammate killed me!!?? in a mission and it was invincible, (i could not shot him),the first time I thought he was a stalker or spectre. before he(teammate) killed me he was speaking in English in the chat, and right before he killed me he was speaking to another teammate in Spanish so that we don't understand what he is going to do,ok.. Before that mission (Assault-Sortie) we did a spy Sortie mission and he was flying through The mission to all consoles to fast(Literally Flying),using NEZHA ?!, and first i thought,man it is fast, But after the mission where he was invincible and killed me, I thought it was impossible for him to do that spy mission so quickly, but I ignored it at that time, I said that maybe I'm TOO slow, but no. The fact that a teammate killed me in the game and being invincible... I haven't seen that in Warframe in 11 years... Or is just maybe something new in Warframe which I didn't know about. Yes i did reported them via in game options, But I thought that maybe others have experienced the same situations, And of course for those who administer this game. But the main reason why I posted here is that maybe the staff will see it and take measures so that it doesn't happen again in the future. Thank you. I will not post the usernames of those who cheated. (For the simple fact that so-called "moderators" will give me a warning or a ban, I think i will receive both.) Anyway, they want to have a clean forum Which I understand, to attract more newcomers who will see only what they want and nothing negative. But you can't hide the mess under the rug forever. I am taking this risk considering that I have invested many years in this game, And I don't like when someone is making fun of me. But maybe that's just me, sensitive. The sortie mission you listed for today is "radiation hazard" condition - allies affected by radiation status can damage their allies, so they were affected by it and one of their abilities or shots downed you. It's not a bug and not cheating, it's part of the game itself. If you think they were intentionally griefing you can report them in-game, but it's very likely they accidentally did it - this happens all the time in radiation hazard sorties with how many AoE / bursty abilities and weapons we have and how much damage they do. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is possible to enable friendly fire when you are hit by Radiation status proc. That occurs mostly in Void (those lasers do Radiation damage long with Status) or in a Sortie with Radiation mutator. https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Confusion Players cannot normally attack each other, so if he irriadiated himself and shot you, you still cant do anything to him. Normally the occurence is an oversight, accident etc. But there are certain players who like to abuse this mechanic to be mean to others and kill them on purpose. Numerounius Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 Probably radiation clouds sortie which can give teammates radiation status proc that turns your teammates into enemies if you mentioned it was in a sortie. Yeah Warframe (-Conclave) is a co-op always-online PVE game, the word cheating is basically non-existent here. There are some people that will try to rile up drama but it can't be worse than what other games have out there. However, given the whole recent debacle with DE unleashing Pandora's Box by mentioning the word "disruptive" gameplay, yeah self-inflicted radiation status proc abuse can probably fall under that. Letter13 Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 This sounds like they got a radiation proc; radiation can cause enemies to deal dammage to their allies, and likewise can cause fellow players to briefly be able to inflict damage on other players. If you suspect they did it intentionally, you can report them for griefing, but it doesn't sound like any sort of cheating was involved (if there was cheating occurring, you should report them to DE support with a support ticket, also).
