Ehhh, maybe too much server load by processing many logins+update requests, IDK. Some people were down from 12 kb/s to almost nil (plus UPDATE_ERROR), so you're quite lucky to just have the lowest speed that much.

Did you change your DNS, use proxy etc?

If you don't, first try to use VPN; if it still doesn't work, then the problem lies on WF server. If it does work, it's on your ISP.

 

People on Phillipines got screwed over a certain ISP because of bad connection to WF server (only to WF server, to other is fine) for one time (IDK if still persists or not), and they succeded to connect, update and play through VPN.

a vpn seems to fix the problem for me atleast but it beg the question where is the problem is it the server having problem or isp not giving enough bandwidth to warframe which I doubt  so it might be a server problem

Usually for this case, the ISP is the problem, since if the problem lies in the server it would pretty much affect everyone (and the forum will full of riots).

Guys I solved the problem (at least for me) so I went to my internet connection and configured it to be a private connection, the I went to control pannel, windows firewall and clicked in program exceptions and searched for all warframe connection on the list and add them all to the exception. After that my warframe started working normaly. Sorry if u don't understand my english I am only 10 years old and english is not my main language.

This is my issue in a nutshell.

 

We're now in 13.7 and nothing has been resolved for the tenno having update issues.  Alot of us didn't get to see any game time at all during 13.6 I'd really like to avoid that happening again if at all possible...

Weird, the update keep failling after hotfix 13.9.0.2 was released

then instantly changes to:

"Update Failed"

 

with a Crash report, but no WAR-number

I have found the Issue, your the AntiVirus Software is BLocking or Sandboxing the Program.. you need to add the Warframe Lancher exe to the exclusions of "auto-Sandboxing" i use Comodo.

 

For Comodo go to Comodo's Advanced settings menu, select the

 

"Defence+" tab on the left

 

choose:

"Behavior Blocker"

 

then on the right there is a Blue link that says "Exclusions" after "Define exclusions for behavior blocking"  Click it.

 

right click in the empty white box and choose "Add" > "File" then find your Warframe file, mine is x64 and is in the file path for Win8.1 NON steam is:

 

c:\Users\USER\AppData\\Local\Warframe\Downloaded\public\Warframe.x64.exe

King_Shinobi is absolutely right. My friend had same problem and it was because of comodo`s sandboxing.

after getting a new pc and fresh install of warframe. it would download the first 1gb of the game. then the download speeds would drop off to nothing, then i would get a server connection error.

after multible times trying to uninstall/reinstall. and reading mulitble fourm threads. i found this works best.

verify game cache.

turn off bulk and agressive downloads.

go eat lunch.

after it download approx another 500mb. i turned bulk and agressive back on. the download speeds are now stable at approx 800kb/s

 

will update after succes/fail am currently 1gb further then iv ever gotten before.
