Dual Ichor. What Are You Doing. Dual Ichor. Staaaaahp.

So I have all of the materials and credits necessary to build the Dual Ichor, but the game won't let me build it. Anyone have any idea why?

Are you sure you got the needed mastery rank? What was the mastery for Dual Ichor? I built it at MR8 and don't remember what it actually required.

It's rank-locked. You have to reach rank 6 first.

I personally like the "hold charge animation." For WingedPop, they are master rank 6.Maybe thats why.

It's a feature of the weapon. It allows for a more precise charge attack release, but it also mean it's less effective in a rapid charge attack gameplay unless you learn to perfect the timing.

But why would u make a charge build on them, arent they like the Zorens regarding crits?

I like that the Dual Ichor has a charge that you can hold for precise release.  It was a huge selling point in investing a Forma into making it, not knowing if I was even going to like it beforehand.

 

I think more weapons should handle like the Dual Ichor.  Not all of them, but ... definitely the really slow-swinging weapons would benefit from it, like the Scindo and Fragor.

Is there a clear indicator for when the Dual Ichor is fully charged?  Like the charge sound effect stops playing or something?  It's being researched in my clan's dojo at the moment and this is the first I've heard of it being able to hold a charge.
