Screenshots 101?

I am so many kinds of not computer savvy.

 

There are some awesome and terrible things in Warframe, and I would really like to be able to take pictures of them, but I don't know how to set up the screen shot option.  I was told to simply press the "Print Screen" button but, I did a start bar search for them afterwards and never found them.

 

My question is; how do I fix this?  Do I have to set up the screen shot feature? Am I doing something wrong?

you use F12 to take screen shots, at least if your are using steam.

The built in screenshot function uses a different hotkey, that being F6. The screenshots are stored in '/Users/[user Name]/My Pictures/Warframe'

And for WF's screenshot option, there is a setting whether or not you want the HUD to show. (This also affects all other UI parts, like the Arsenal.)

Is that information in game/forum somewhere?  If not, it'd be nice if it was.

I really want a wall paper of my fav frame during the Capture mission lobby screen.  Makes me feel like a Sith Lord. :3

go to HUD settings, and turn "UI In screenshots" off and enjoy! : D
