Banshee isn't popular because... A. her 1 and 4 abilities are weak and Silence is all but useless except on solo stealth runs and B. frankly she's not that pleasant to look at - although admittedly that's my personal opinion.

 

And how is a "ranged version of Ash" a completely random statement? 

 

because it makes no sense?  how is ash not ranged?  he can teleport "at range" to stuff, he can throw shurikens "a hefty range", he can ultimate all over the place "at range".

space ninja's are at least useful and have a huge amount of myth/hype and more importantly over the top "special move" type stuff, what the hells a cowboy gonna do, Ability 1,2,3 = ? Ability 4 = Cow Stampede?.

Maybe... Of course, the Cowboy mythos is deeper, lasted longer, and more well documented.

 

Considering the game has a ninja motif, but with frames that emulate a number of different styles: Knight, Druid, Barbarian, Pirate, Berserker, Death, Hunter, and a couple of Soldier frames.

 

Given that fact, a Cowboy frame isn't a stretch...

It's a bit of a shock they haven't done it already.

By ranged I meant purely ranged with guns. Ash's shuriken counts as a thrown melee weapon as shuriken were historically used as multi-purpose distractions/melee/thrown weapons. As for Bladestorm, it's melee with teleportation within a radius, it's not "at range" at all.

Thats really cool. I think Luke is a weird name for a warframe though
