No More Warframe: More Powers And Habilities

Good, they need to do this because aside from one or two specific builds for most things, there's no variety. More aura slots and slots in general, along with a new skill entirely, could have a much better chance at breathing life back into the game.

Welcome to online gaming man. Doesn't matter whether it's League of Legends, Smite, Warframe, WoW. There's always the handful of "acceptable" builds in any game. You can do something different if you want, that's your call. But the number crunchers/pros/high level elite always find a certain amount of builds for whatever class or weapon or strategy you plan to use. Those become acceptable as the "good" builds. If you don't like them, do something different. Find a build you made up and tried out and decided you liked. Adding more slots will just continue the problem because guess what? Eventually those number crunchers are going to find X amount of "good, acceptable builds" again and we're back to "lack of variety."

What exclusive weapons? We were talking about more slots you might unlock when you level up your mastery rank.

People with access to exclusive weapons (founder items, vandals, wraiths, Dex Furis, and retired items) potentially have a higher mastery.

Edit: Autocorrect corrected.

I guess accumulate millions of points of rank are useless and mean nothing, yes is justified. Right?

My idea may need improvement or new ideas, but in these forums, you just quickly rush to criticize not only improve the proposals and say unnecessary things. But that can be expected from a video game forum.

Firstly, I will appologise for not explaining myself better.

As of now, the power level attainable means that we are not challenged by any initial content the game offers. It is not until we start getting into long survival and defense runs that the power we have already becomes truly needed.

Increasing the amount of mods etc we can use with our gear would only serve to raise the players level of power that much further above that of the enemies.

Awhileback I tried a T3 Survival solo, with an extinguished key equipped, and made it to 20 minutes without much problem. If at the current level of power something like that is simple to achieve then do we really need the extra power more slots and modpoints would give?

Yes I know it can be frustrating not being able to fit everything onto your frame, but that is where the real challenge in this game comes in, how to make the most with what you have, to get your build the best you can make it.

Many people argue that this would make things like resistance mods more useful, but who would honestly run one of them over all the other mods available given the choice.

We absolutely do not need more mod slots until new content is created that will justify that level of power from the word go.

This is why I've been asking for difficulty levels in warframe for months.

Handling it similar to borderlands 2 would work. Levels varying from easy, to taxing, to hard, to S#&$ I died again.

You could simply reward players with a slight higher chance at getting rare resourxea and more credits. Hell, I'd take on a challenge for extra credits.

Also, I wouldn't mind if certain cosmetics were farmable in the hardest content. Like a syandana to show that you're a baws.

Getting people in missions with higher difficulty would be almost impossible. Think about it, you have to divide all players across 3-4 difficulties.

There wouldnt be much players on specific nodes.

Well, ideally it'd be similar to BL2.

You have to complete a planet at the most basic level to unlock the next tier of difficulty on that planet. So there will always be new people on the easiest tier, and most will hover in the middle.

The hardest action you would only want to attempt with a competent team at the best of times, pubbing would obviously be available despite lobbies being few and far between, but perhaps inadvisable.

But seriously, I kinda agree with this guy. Of course, new warframes should never stop being created, that halts progress and this game will become stagnant. But more slots and abilities are a good idea.

Yeah because we can only do 200 Waves Def and 8h Survival with what we currently have and all normal Enemies are a joke... its really not enough! I demand to be able to play 10h Survival !!!

Rly, why would anyone even think about making this game more easy, warframes more op... we need ENEMIES that can fight back to make this game intresting...

DE have been trying to do difficulty since U8. Power creep however has been creeping at the same time meaning that the old gold standard (T3) has become a joke.

Nightmare was a step in the right direction, initially at least, but with No shields being most of it nowadays, it feels more punishing rather than difficult.

I had hoped that there was going to be some sort of Dark sector system that had a few nodes at a time on the outside of the system that were locked based on conclave or some sort of similar system with much tougher enemies, say starting at level 70.

Unfortunately anything like that would need to incentivize people to play it, and inevitably the scrubs would whine about how they weren't able to enjoy the content put in to incentivize high level play and we'd lose out on what we wanted. Hell people nowadays get butthurt over having to go out and get stance mods.
